  Be weary if booking a mustang. Last minute bait and switch! In response to the reply from the business below, I contacted customer service twice and was told over the phone no refunds, discounts, or any form of compensation was available, and no mustang could be provided for the remainder of the booking. The reply attributed the issue to a recall on mustangs, which would be fair if the recall happened as I was walking to the car park. You knew you couldn't fulfil the booking but didn't want to lose the money. Acting like you want to fix the issue now you have bad review on a public platform is also dishonest. Original review: Disappointed with my experience. I booked a convertible Mustang months in advance, but wasn't told it was unavailable until after I'd checked in, completed all the paperwork, paid the deposit, and gone into the car park to collect the keys. Had I been informed beforehand, I would have cancelled and rented from another company. Other providers still had Mustangs available when we checked. Instead, I was presented with a Jeep as the only replacement. Calling that a "similar" vehicle to a convertible Mustang is a stretch. Waiting until the entire pickup process was complete before telling us left us with little choice but to accept the replacement to avoid disrupting the day we had planned, which felt like a bait-and-switch.

  Picked up my rental car on July 19 can move pretty slow but once you sign everything and pay for everything, everything starts moving fairly quickly and returning the car was a breeze

I rented a car from Alamo Rent A Car at Waikiki Sunset Hotel. The staff were friendly, pickup was quick, and the car was clean and comfortable. The return process was easy. A great rental experience, and I would definitely use this location again.
