great customer service and car always comes out clean but their license plate reader keeps mistaking my I for a 1 and always need someone to come over to help me out. it was working last year but a few months ago it stopped and it is really annoying and i feel bad for holding up a line because of it. besides that it is a good car wash and worth the price especially if you get a plan with friends or family.

Great drive-thru car wash. The vacuums work great. I love their window cleaner. My car looks great and I didn't even dry it.

I'm glad I made a trip to Zips on Eagle in Woodstock this AM. Says open on Google. The hours are 7am-7pm. Arri ed at 755am, totally closed.
Update your hours to not waste people's time, and $5 dollar a gallon Diesel.

I don’t even know where to start with how absolutely terrible this place is. Zips Car Wash is hands down the worst car wash I have ever dealt with in my life, and I’ve been around long enough to know the difference between a bad experience and straight-up negligence.
First off, this place is damaging vehicles. Not “maybe scratched it a little” — I’m talking about ripping off corner panels and burning up A/C blower fans. That is not a mistake, that is equipment that is clearly unsafe and not maintained. If your machines are literally tearing pieces off people’s cars, you shouldn’t be open, period.
Then you’ve got their license plate reader system for members — what a joke. It constantly fails, forcing people to sit there like idiots while the line backs up because their broken system can’t do the ONE job it’s supposed to do. You’re paying for a membership and still getting treated like it’s a gamble whether you can even get in.
And let’s be real about why this place is such a disaster — they don’t care. They don’t hire competent people, they don’t fix their equipment, and they don’t improve anything because they don’t have to. They’ve basically got a monopoly on Towne Lake Parkway, so they just keep collecting money while running a half-broken operation.
This is easily the worst car wash within 100 miles, no exaggeration. The level of incompetence here is unreal. If you value your vehicle at all, stay far away from this place. It’s not just a bad wash — it’s a risk to your car.
I wouldn’t trust them with a bicycle, let alone a vehicle.

Very overpriced compared to much nicer competitors in the area that have newer equipment, more amenities, and nicer facilities.
Also, their credit card readers are magnetic strip readers only with no chip or tap capabilities. This in itself is a huge security vulnerability, combine that with the fact that the existing readers don’t work just makes the entire place seem outdated and overpriced.
