  It's really sad that people are experiencing this. It saddens me to do this post, but people need to know it needs to be put out there regarding the severe lack of customer service, care, and professionalism we have experienced at Camping World, specifically at your Alabama and Woodstock, Georgia locations. They're all onboard when you're there to purchase the minute you seal that deal that's it, they don't care anymore. They don't care. They're rude, especially one of the ladies that's at the front desk. She's very rude. She lacks customer service ethics and professionalism. They're lacking a lot of things in this company alot. We recently purchased a camper and from the very first use, we have encountered serious electrical issues. When we brought the vehicle in for repairs, we were assured that a full diagnostic has been performed and that no issues were found. However, this was proven incorrect on the business grounds when we discovered part of the electrical fault by one caring worker. The tech team failed to perform the necessary diagnostic and try to send us away, putting our family's safety at serious risk. Even after we researched the problem, took screenshots of the potential cause,and sent it to the team, our concerns were completely neglected and the camper was returned to us unresolved. Throughout this entire process, we have experienced an unacceptable lack of communication and zero customer service ethics. Promises of callbacks were never kept, and we have been forced to constantly chase the staff and management team for updates and still nothing. Given that we have experienced this exact same pattern of negligence across multiple locations, it is clear that this is a widespread management issue.These safety violations shouldn't go unnoticed. I seriously doubt that things will change, Probably when somebody seriously gets hurt. I don't understand how this company remains in business after so many bad reviews, it's so many complaints against this company and they are still in business. It buffles me.The management team and the people who works under them has a high tolerance of neglect. There's a high standard of lack in communication. There's a high standard of lack with organization skills. They couldn't find the paperwork. nobody's communicating. I really thought I was on hidden camera for a period of time. I really thought so it's really crazy. Take my advice, don't buy an Arv from there. Hoping that you're gonna experience something different you're not with my experience and so many others you won't you will just be a other victim.We thought the same thing that we were gonna have a different experience. We have witness other customers experiencing Frustration and aggravation, it's not worth it. There are many other places that you can go and get a camper. It's just sad the camper that we bought was the one we really fell in love with and they didn't have it in the Georgia location. So they had to bring it in from kansas location and didn't perform the proper procedures before we picked it up there was a lot of things that needed to be change on it Little things and it didn't even get done Our camper had burn cords , electrical burn cords from the actual camper, and then they're trying to tell us that maybe it's a camground, how two different states campgrounds, will have the same issue . Lady, don't insult my intelligence. I'm not bubb the fool, and I had to tell her that specifically, it can't be the cords were burned pacifically on the entrywayof the electrical component of the RV, they didn't care. They didn't do the diagnostic at all on a camper for the two weeks it was there. They couldn't find issues thats because they didn't look. But here's an issue because the electrical cords are being burnt. 2 different states, two different campsites, with the search protector beingused.   Worst customer service ever. Checked in and was told “just walk around out there until I can find you a salesman.” It was 100°… while walking around we seen at least 5 workers riding around on golf carts. Nobody offered to help us and the front desk never sent anyone. After 45 minutes of wandering around in the heat, we decided to call it a day and leave. Nobody said a word when we walked out the door. Front desk was just sitting there on their phone eating lunch. Avoid this place and take the hour drive north to Chattanooga.

  We went here for service on our family Thor class B and to look for a new off road class B in January of this year. While the sales team was nice, the service manager Shannon was; unprofessional, condescending and rude beyond belief. Since the store General Manager is always out of the office or on vacation, we had to get Camper World Corporate and Thor corporate involved (Thor has awesome customer service). - Thor sent parts directly to Camper World Woodstock - Thor provided a PO to warrantee the repair. - Since we went to Camper World corporate and filed a complaint about Shannon from service, they refused to do the warrantee work our RV “you can come get your parts, but we will not fix your RV.” This went on for months. Now in August we called Camper World Buford, Jesse from the service department was very professional and helped to get the parts transferred and schedule our warrantee repair. STAY AWAY FROM CAMPEE WORLD WOODSTOCK!!!!

  If I could give zero stars, it would be closer to the number of stars deserved. We made an appointment to drop off our camper van on Monday at 11:00am and we arrived at the agreed upon time and day to have the refrigerator assessed and repaired. The person who took the keys asked when we needed it back and we said ideally the following day or Wednesday at the latest because we had someone who wanted it to rent the van on Thursday. We left assuming the techs would be checking it Monday afternoon. After calling several times on Tuesday, we finally got an update: the tech hadn’t even looked at the van until around 4:00 that day. I asked why that was the case when our appointment was Monday morning. I was told that it wasn’t really an appointment time, rather just a time to drop off the van to get in the queue for assessment. This would have been helpful to know so that we could manage our own expectations as well as those of our renter. Once the technician was able to complete the diagnostics, it was found that the control panel was bad and it was discontinued. All that is fine and not the issue. The issue arises from the poor communication and lack of problem solving skills. We asked if they could install a new refrigerator and they said they could, which was great. We were told that the refrigerator had to be ordered and would arrive the following week. Bummer, but okay. Especially since larger stores like this one typically have refrigerators on hand and we were not particular about the brand. Thankfully the refrigerator arrived early (unfortunately without the encasement) The tech installed the refrigerator and in doing so, another wire was shorted. We were told that the van would be ready for pickup at noon on Tuesday, a week and a day after our “appointment” time. After several hours waiting for the installation and wiring repair to be completed, we were presented with a bill that included 4 hours of labor that included two hours for the time it took to repair the wiring that was damaged during the installation. We asked to see the invoice for the refrigerator and were told that we would not be able to review it. (We are guessing it is because the price and delivery date were noted.) The entire experience was maddening, due mostly to poor communication and poor customer experience. All in all, with the delay and lost revenue from the rental ($1000), what feels like an overcharge for labor ($400) and the refrigerator ($400), we are out $1800. There are a million places to have your camper serviced. Choose ANY other than this one.

  My experience with the salesperson was positive. Joe did an excellent job following up throughout the process. However, the negotiation with finance was exhausting. The Let's Go Camping kit felt more like an obligation to purchase than a benefit. In the end, my camper did not require a propane tank, so one was not delivered, even though it was included as part of the Let's Go Camping kit. The delivery process was also very frustrating. My intention was to take the camper home the same day, so I completed the payment and waited nearly four hours while they added the brake controller and 7-way connector to the camper. However, at the end of the day, I was told that the 7-way connector installation was not included and that there was no one available to perform the work, meaning I would have to return the following Tuesday. The additional modification was quoted at $43 for the brake controller and $650 in labor. While I felt that the labor charge was excessively high, I did not have time during the week to drive four hours to have the work completed elsewhere, so I installed it myself. Apparently, that did not sit well with the technician because when I returned two days later to pick up the camper, I was told it could not be released since the brake controller was not wired and the 12-volt power connection had not been installed. As a result, I had to make a third trip to pick up the camper after the 12-volt wiring was completed. During that visit, I also confirmed that the brake controller did not require a brake signal because it is a Bluetooth device designed specifically to eliminate the need for hardwiring a traditional brake controller. Nevertheless, the technician who "instructed" me on its installation was very insistent that the 7-way connector had been installed incorrectly. I asked him why and requested that he explain his concerns, but he was unable to do so and simply stated that he was not going to argue about it with me. The trailer brakes worked perfectly. Overall, my experience was average. The salesperson's attention and support were excellent, but honestly, everything that followed felt heavily focused on selling additional services that were unnecessary and priced far above their actual value. Once purchased, those services amounted to little more than a brief 10- to 15-minute conversation.
