  Honestly the best service I’ve gotten from an auto shop in a really long time! I came in on a time crunch and they got me in and out with time for me to spare. All my questions were answered and everything was explained before it happened. The store manager was lovely, it was an overall amazing experience!

  I had a fantastic experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and Lynnecia in particular was absolutely amazing—she was professional, friendly, and kept me updated throughout the entire process.

  One star for the Mavic website, which let me select tires, book installation same day, pay deposit, only to get a call saying they didn't have the tires. One car family and I needed tires asap, so when no one called by the next afternoon I called to cancel and get a deposit refund, as I found tires elsewhere . Manager told me tires actually arrived yesterday, and she tried calling me early this morning with no answer, and that she was just waiting to hear from me. What? First, you never called MY number, and if you did, which you didn't, why wouldn't you left a message? You also have my email. Or, you could have called again. When I said I wanted to go ahead with a refund, she said she could do that, and then immediately hung up on me. Wow.

  Tires and Brake it, avoid if you have a full size truck. I do this review with great reluctance. I met a like the manager Terry, she seems like a very nice person. However, the personal at the store seem very poorly trained. I have a full sized dually, and I need one tire replaced. I didn't realized how bad this could go. The shop struggled to remove the inflated tire and rim from the mounting & balancing machine. They ultimately put several large scratching and digs into the rim. This is rather expensive RIM. It is designed to be used in either direction, depending on if they go onto the front axle or rear axle. They managed to scratch both sides! They were honest, the called and said "we had trouble and damaged your RIM." I said accidents happen, just either fix the RIM or Replace it. What they came back with was to give me $50 off the purchase. I rejected this "offer" as I wanted the back in the same condition I gave it to them and the RIM being well over $400 won't replace it (including paying someone else to transfer the TPMS sensor and tire and rebalance) or have it fixed. I waited but that was all they offered. I then contacted Mavis corporate and raised a case with customer service. The local branch then did try to fix the item themselves, but they really did more damage than the original issue. If they had replaced the RIM or sent it to someone who could fix the RIM, they'd rank 4 stars.. this is because, besides not know how to operate their equipment, they didn't put the requested amount of air into the tire. The tires are load range E, which EVERYONE knows you start with 60 pounds of air. I asked them for 75, as we tow frequently and heavy and this was going on the front axle. They put 38 pounds in the tire. I have now used Mavis twice and both times were very poor experiences. I will eventually replace this RIM, because now I don't trust the structural integrity of the RIM. I did tell them we tow and there is a lot of weight on the truck, our total weight combined is 28000 pounds, of which 14000 is in the truck and the added weight of trailer tongue on the bed.
