  Unsure what half of these people complaining about this business are on except for a high horse. On Saturday this store was busy busy and they got people out at a reasonable time. There was one lady that was just ungodly impatient and she got here the same time I did. She was out before I was. 🙄🙄

  Do not make an appointment prior to coming here, its absolutely pointless. Make sure you set aside a lot of time because you are going to be waiting regulardless of what you are here for.

  ⚠️ WARNING — Do NOT take your car to Mavis in Statesboro! I’m reposting my original review because it was deleted. Looks like they have fake reviews as well, dont be fooled!!! I will continue to post and share what happened and how this situation has affected my life and my family’s life over the past month and a half. I have been without my car for almost 30 days now because of this situation. What was supposed to be a simple oil change has turned into a nightmare that has cost my family thousands of dollars, countless hours, and an incredible amount of stress.

  Oil change from HELL. I strongly urge you to avoid Mavis. I brought my 2021 Honda CR-V to Mavis in Statesboro for a routine oil change. The technician mistakenly drained the transmission fluid instead of the engine oil, returned my vehicle without the proper fluid, and then added the wrong fluid. My car immediately began jerking and driving abnormally. Honda later inspected it and reported that the wrong fluid had been used and recommended transmission replacement. Mavis refused to refund me, when I returned to the shop and I was treated very rudely when trying to get this resolved. Ultimately, my mom had to pay for the damages, leaving us out a significant amount of money $10,000 because of a mistake that happened during a routine service. What should have been a simple oil change turned into weeks without my vehicle, towing, transportation issues, and constant back-and-forth. I would not recommend this location.

  Warning…do NOT take your car to Mavis in Statesboro! My daughter took her car to Mavis for an oil change and they drained the transmission fluid and ruined the engine. It’s been a 6 week ordeal and a total nightmare. Long story short…Mavis admitted to liability and agreed to tow the car to a dealership in Savannah and paid for a rental car…but didn’t want to pay for the recommended triple flush of the engine and then refused to repair the car as needed based on the inspection. They have been extremely difficult to deal with and simply don’t care. They only would put a used transmission in the car installed at their auto shop which has awful reviews. Don’t trust them for doing right by the customer. What was supposed to be a simple oil change has cost me over $10,000.
