My appointment was on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 2 PM for my windows to be tinted on my 2024 VW Jetta SE. I arrived at 2 PM and selected the package I wanted for my car, and the guy at the desk helped me. After I decided on my tint, he informed me that it would be ready at 4 PM because he had another customer ahead of me. I thought that was strange because no car was in the shop, and I had a 2 PM appointment, which puzzled me. He then said, I'll just put you ahead of them, and I asked, Are you sure? I don't want you to rush on my car. He replied, I do this all the time; it will be done right. I mentioned that if it was going to take longer than 4 PM, I could wait, and he assured me it wouldn’t take that long. The guy seemed overwhelmed during the process, which made me think that maybe I had made a big mistake. After he finished, I noticed bubbles in several areas and asked him about them. He said it's still wet in those areas and that the heat would help it dry up. Well, it's Wednesday, and some areas did dry, but the ones with trash in them didn't, and he really messed up the edges of the tint on my doors. This was truly amateur work, and trust me, it needs to be fixed. Alex, the manager, is supposed to meet with me on Thursday, May 7th, at 2 PM to discuss these issues. Let's see how this ends.
*********************Update**********************
I arrived to meet Alex, the manager, and he agreed that the technician did a horrible job and would make it right. However, he informed me that removing the tint from my rear windshield would likely damage the defrost sensor. As a result, my back windshield needs to be replaced. I spent $340, and now they will remove the tint, install the new back windshield once it arrives. I don't believe he will be ordering the back windshield that they damaged. **********************Update************************
The manager, Alex, contacted me yesterday and wanted to make things right by refunding my $340. I agreed to meet him at Tint World in Smyrna, GA, on Friday, May 7, 2026, at 2 p.m. to receive it. The refund was given to me in cash, just like I paid, and I even asked for a receipt. I would still advise against spending your money here to avoid a situation like mine.

Called them on Monday April 27th to inquire about having the front bumper and mirrors of my BMW f82 PPF'd. Was quoted $650, I said ok if I brought it in early would i have it back same day he said "yes". I scheduled to bring it in on Wednesday. I had something come up so I called back on Tuesday and said I needed to reschedule for Thursday and would it be the same, I would get the car back the same day, again he said "yes" so I rescheduled for Thursday at 9am. I showed up Thursday at 8:55am the door was unlocked but know one to be seen or heard. So I walked around the shop looking at displays for about 5 minutes still no one in sight. I sat down a guy appears 5 minutes later and asked "what do you need". Very low energy, no good morning, no welcome tint world, no type of excitement. I told him I what I was there for and he confirmed my name and appointment time. I asked how long should it take, his reply was "It should be ready around mid day". I waited on my ride and left. Fast forward to 4:30pm hadn't heard a word so I called. I asked if I could come pick up my car, was told it's ready but it's not ready "can you pick it up tomorrow " even though on both phone conversations I specifically asked would it be ready same day and on both occasions I was told yes! I tell him I need to pick the car up today, he tells me it's sitting outside in the sun but if I need to pick it up it will be ready at 5:30-5:45. I show up at 5:30 to pick it up and pay. I ask whats my total, the reply is $750 and some change. I reply "$750? "..a hundred dollars in tax? His reply "no, tax and shop fees". Why wouldn't you automatically include the shop fees in your price or are the customers aware that you will have them at checkout? Then he tells me for you second visit you get a discount. At this point I've already paid the bill with the additional $100 over what I was originally quoted. I tell him this is my second visit will the discount apply to this visit, he tells me he will get with the owner to see if he can get me a credit. I ask when will I know, his reply is I'll know next week, next Monday or Tuesday when he speaks with the owner I'll know if I see a credit on my credit card statement. Thats the customer service you should expect. Now the actual work. Its just ok. The front bumper still has bubbles after 3 days of sun exposure. On the passenger mirror you can tell the tech messed it up but instead of redoing it he just made some cuts to fix it leaving a small portion of the mirror unprotected. When I picked the car up both mirrors were loaded with fingerprints, he didn't take the time to clean them before returning the vehicle. And lastly the tech left scratches on the finder from his paints or belt nothing major but noticeable.
