  Update:Came into this RaceTrac on Wednesday between 8:00–8:10 a.m. and had a disappointing customer service experience that I’ve unfortunately noticed here before. The cashier did ring up my items, but there was no greeting, no eye contact, and no acknowledgment when I approached the register. While I was standing right there waiting to be helped, she was engaged in conversation with another customer off to the side, which made the interaction feel dismissive. Even after the transaction was completed, there was no “thank you” or basic courtesy—just silence as I stood there. It’s not about speed, it’s about basic respect and awareness of the customer in front of you, and that was missing here. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced similar service at this location, so it feels more like a pattern than a one-off moment. Hopefully management can address consistency in customer service expectations, because small interactions like this matter.

  I always forget how bad this race track is. The bathrooms are usually dirty and the checkout line is always 6 or 7 people deep because there's only one slow and unmotivated employee at the counter. I usually just give up and go to the QuikTrip down the street.

  you might as well get self check out - your cashier didn't say one word to me during my purchase just now but was super friendly to the man before and after me. people like this should NOT work in customer service.
