If I was able to leave no stars I would!!! My husband has a car with them. We had to take the car back 3 separate times over the same tire! They were supposed to have replaced the tire and kept filling it with air saying they changed it. This last time I took it up there and told them they acted like they had no one what I was talking about. Didn’t even have it in the system that my husband had just been up there for an oil change and tire Rotation. They are so unprofessional I would not recommend getting a car from this place!!! We have had nothing but problems from them!!

Honestly, I had my doubts abt Shottenkirk Rome Hyundai & had never dealt w them. I found a vehicle I was interested in, so I went to ck on a test drive. Santa Fe Limited ('25 but NEW). I absolutely loved the way it drove, handled, & both my friend & I loved the way it rode. I got back & started talking $. I told them my absolute max pymt amt, & the longest I would finance it. Used my trade-in as my down pymt. They sd they couldnt do it -so I left. Next day I started getting emails from the GM wanting to know why I didn't complete the purchase. I was very honest & sd it didn't seem like they wanted to sell an older "new" vehicle even tho the newer ones ((2027) should start hitting the lot in a month or two. I told him my Max payment, length of payment, required options on vehicle etc.... He sd he could definitely get me into that one or even a current year one for my price! He asked me to pls return to the dealership. I did & he held true to his word. Somehow, he had worked it out that my payments were 17 cents over my top dollar. Paperwork done, and I drove it home. I got an email later that evening from my salesman saying he had forgotten to tell me that due to the matte paint finish, my car could not be taken through a car wash or it would ruin the paint. It had to be hand washed! That absolutely floored me. I had said several times, and even typed it into the email abt being on disability.... There's no way I can hand wash a vehicle! This was highly disappointing and frustrating, and I felt like I had been deceived. I responded back that I would be there the next morning, and I wanted to speak to the general manager. I was told the GM was off that day. I went in with my copies of my emails from the GM, & a copy of the text from the salesman telling me about hand washing. The sales manager Duke, the finance manager TJ, and my salesman Noah were all waiting when I showed up. I explained to the situation that due to my disability I am not able to hand wash vehicles, and had I known that I would not have purchased that vehicle. The salesman brought around two of the current year vehicles for me to look at, but they did not have all the same options & I didn't like them. I went back in & spoke to the sales manager. He offered a solution & we came to a mutually agreeable way that they would handle it .... I come in whenever I think I need my car washed....& They would personally have it hand-washed free of charge for me - lifetime! ✓✓✓✓✓SOLD✓✓✓✓✓✓ WE HAVE A WINNER! They went above & beyond to make sure the deal worked for me & that I got the car I was happy with. I found out that SHOTTENKIRK ROME HYUNDAI REALLY D O E S CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I HAVE FOUND A NEW DEALERSHIP!!💞

I brought my 2023 Tucson in for a recall repair for the trailer hitch wiring harness after receiving notification that after almost a year, they have finally got a fix for the recall. Their fix was to remove the wiring harness making it illegal for me to tow a trailer. They did not tell me they were going to disable my trailer hitch. They said they fixed it. They did not fix the recall. They claim disabling the trailer hitch is the fix. They spent a couple of pennies for a dust cover and called it done. I feel sorry for those folks who are on the brake recall list. What are they going to do? Fix it by removing your brake pedal? Unfortunately I filled out their survey before I found what they did.

I have bought two vehicles from Shottenkirk Hyundai. Recently, a 2026 Santa Fe when they were located in Canton. After having the vehicle a family member that sat in the back seat told me that they could see a cut on top of the drivers seat. When I called them and talked with someone they said they couldn't do anything about it. Then, I called and ask to speak to a manager. The manager said that the extra coverage that I bought to cover anything that the warranty didn't would only cover a stain and not a rip or tear. I had a professional upholstery man tell me that it looked like it was made when the dealership cut the plastic off the seats. The manager said that he would call me back but I never received a call. I am pleased with the vehicle but not the dealership. They are not professional as they don't seem to care or believe what you tell them. I am not used to this treatment from a dealership. Will not be buying another vehicle from them.
