Rayquan and the other worker (didn’t catch his name, but he was super hospitable and kind) were chatting with another customer, perhaps a friend, as I was walking in, but they quickly and politely paused their conversation to ask me what I was looking for. I was headed the wrong direction looking for coolant, but they pointed me in the right direction, saving me the search. Rayquan and the crew at 82 Magellan in Port Wentworth, GA really made a difference with their hospitality and kindness, and I really appreciate him and the atmosphere at this location. Thank you!!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
