- HHHonesTayApr 22, 20265.0I had been having a lot of trouble trying to exchange an alternator under the warranty because the store I had purchased it had closed. The mechanic sent me to this specific store to see Ms. Tamika and I’m so glad he did. She was super patient and helped me figure out what I needed to do to find the transaction history so I could get my alternator exchanged. After a few phone calls with another store and the customer service hotline, she got what she needed and was able to fulfill the warranty.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
