Oil is the lifeblood of every standard vehicle on the road. It's crucial to regularly check your oil and schedule oil change service for your car to ensure it runs properly. Regular service also allows us to check for leaks in your engine that could shorten your vehicle's lifespan and lead to other avoidable problems.
Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.
We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.
Proper wheel and tire alignment helps your car's tires last longer, increases fuel economy, and improves your vehicle's handling. Our highly-trained tire alignment experts are ready to provide you the reliable, quality service you need to get back on the road.
Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.
Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples.
Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.
There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

I had an excellent experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes when I needed my tires replaced. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to explain my options, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood the work being done on my vehicle.
The tire replacement process was handled efficiently and with great attention to detail. The team worked quickly without making me feel rushed, and they clearly took pride in providing quality service. I also appreciated their honesty and transparency throughout the entire experience—there were no unnecessary sales pitches or unexpected surprises.
My vehicle feels much safer and smoother on the road, and I’m very pleased with the quality of the tires and the installation. The staff’s courtesy, knowledge, and commitment to customer satisfaction really stood out. I would highly recommend Mavis Tires & Brakes to anyone looking for dependable tire service and a trustworthy team. They made what could have been a stressful repair simple, convenient, and reassuring.

Great experience from start to finish! I came in to have my two front tires replaced and also got an oil change. The service was quick, professional, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They explained everything clearly, didn’t try to pressure me into anything I didn’t need, and made sure everything was taken care of properly.
I appreciate the great customer service and quality work. I’ll definitely be coming back for my future tire and maintenance needs. Highly recommend this company!

I visited the Ellenwood location before leaving to the other location. The young lady at the desk was great and ready to work. The work crew were not prepared for the appointment (8:00am) I scheduled. They stood around smoking and joking until about 8:22 and I asked for my keys and left. This is a new business in this area so your best should be on display to build a customer base. I will give them another try because of the young lady being so nice, but I took my car elsewhere to get tires.

I was greeted time I walked in. I had a 12 o’clock appointment, but they sent me a message to come a little earlier which I did. I went in for a break inspection. The technician came in and asked me questions about what I was experiencing with my brakes which I told him.
Dawson showed up and explained to me that I needed rotors and that’s why I was feeling all the vibration. I had recently had brake pads put on, so he explained to me that they could do the work, but he would recommend me to go back to where I had the brakes done. I appreciate his honesty, integrity, and customer service for not trying to make money on my situation. I would definitely let Mavis service my vehicle. Thanks

Had a flat tire and went to Mavis expecting to get it handled quickly. Instead, I was quoted $159 for a tire and was told the cheaper tire I was looking at wasn’t in stock. I checked the Mavis website myself and found a tire advertised for around $80, with an installation appointment bringing it to about $109. So how is the online inventory and pricing completely different from what I’m being told in the store?
This also isn’t my first frustrating experience with Mavis. Earlier, I went in about a tire and was quoted $34.99 just to plug it, only to get it done elsewhere for $20.
At $159 for one tire BEFORE taxes and fees, I literally could buy a used tire AND a new tire for around the same price. I ended up taking my business elsewhere, where I got a used tire for $50, and I’ll be getting a NEW tire from Walmart for around $60.
I understand prices can vary, but the huge discrepancy between the online pricing and what employees are quoting customers in person is frustrating. On top of that, the customer service at multiple Mavis locations I’ve dealt with has been disappointing. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy makes the experience even worse.
I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
