Amazing service at Mavis Discount Tire on Chastain Meadows Pkwy — especially from JT! We were pulling into the Walmart parking lot nearby when my son, a freshman at Kennesaw State, discovered he had a flat tire. Naturally, it happened at the most inconvenient time, but JT and the team at Mavis made the whole experience so much easier than expected.
They had the exact tire we needed in stock and got us in and out quickly, which was such a relief given the circumstances. On top of that, they gave us a discount for my son being a student, which was a really thoughtful touch. They also went above and beyond by checking and adjusting the lug nuts and tire pressure on all four tires to the correct specs, not just the one that had gone flat.
What really stood out was how friendly and welcoming the entire staff was. They offered water to me and my family while we waited, which made a stressful situation feel a lot more comfortable. The facility itself was spotless from top to bottom, even the restrooms, which says a lot about how well this location is run.
If you're a Kennesaw State parent or student, or just anyone in the area needing tire service, I can't recommend this Mavis location enough. Ask for JT if you can. They truly went above and beyond, and it did not go unnoticed. This team won't disappoint!

JT and Doc are great!!!! I brought my car in today because the ABS lights were going off. My home mechanic did a electrical diagnostic test yesterday, and charged me $179 for it...and told me it was a tire sensor. I had had the mavis shop put some sensors in a couple months back, so i headed over to this shop to follow up. JT explained that it would have to be another sensor for the ABS lights to come on, but said dont worry we will look at it and see what we can do. I then realized I could have saved all that money by just bringing it to mavis first...won't make that mistake again. This shop will get all my business. Once they did their diagnostic test, they found out it wasn't a faulty sensor, but a loose sensor. Doc took the tire off and found it just needed to be tightened...he did it and they did not charge me at all, and even apologized that i had to pay for the other shop to do the test the day before. This really restores my faith in people. Thank you Doc and JT. They also take care of my hotel vans up the street at Holiday Inn Express. Thanks guys

JT and William helped me immediately as I got in. Service was quick and I did not have an appointment. I ran all across town for a tire patch because a nail was stuck in my tire and the other shops were trying to charge me outrageous prices. I came to MAVIS and they got me in and out within no time!! The staff here was very friendly and even educated me a little bit on my car lol!! I’m so glad I was able to get my tire repaired within 20 minutes because of how busy of a person I am. This was such an inconvenience but they fixed it with no problem and with no time.
