  My family has rented from Enterprise for years, but unfortunately, this will likely be our last time doing business with them. I miss the days when you could pick up a rental car and it looked and felt brand new, as if you were driving it off the dealership lot. This time, the vehicle had red clay and mud all along the passenger side doors, extending toward the back. The branch manager walked around the vehicle with me, and I was surprised that this wasn't acknowledged. I would have expected someone in that position to say, "Let's run it back through the wash," especially since the branch has a full vehicle wash area. The problems didn't stop with the exterior. Inside the vehicle, there was red clay around the gear selector, residue on the driver's side mirror, dust and debris in the window controls, and dirt in several crevices. The driver's area wasn't fully vacuumed, and the interior clearly hadn't been detailed. It looked like someone simply wiped down a few surfaces instead of giving the car the thorough cleaning customers expect. I even returned to the branch to have the vehicle cleaned, but instead of a complete wash and detail, they only spot-cleaned it. A proper wash and interior detail would have taken only 10 to 15 minutes and would have made a huge difference. The employees were friendly, and I appreciate their positive attitudes. However, good customer service is about more than being polite. It's about attention to detail and taking pride in the product you're providing. When a branch manager overlooks something as obvious as mud on the exterior, dirty tires, and an inadequately cleaned interior, it reflects poorly on the entire experience. To make matters worse, when I contacted customer service, I was given the runaround instead of receiving a meaningful resolution. Seeing that the branch manager's name was on the business card made it even more disappointing because it was clear these issues had been seen and accepted before the vehicle was rented out. I've always told people that if I couldn't rent from Enterprise, I wouldn't rent anywhere else. That's how much confidence I had in the company. Sadly, this experience has changed my opinion. I expected a five-star rental experience, not just a newer vehicle with a quick wipe-down. I hope Enterprise returns to the high standards that made so many customers, including my family, loyal for years.

  If you are sensitive to fragrances and you think requesting a car that has not been treated with scented products will get you what you need, think again. I submitted this request both when booking and when I got a phonecsll to confirm pick up time for the next day.... And got a car that appeared purposely aromatized, which resulted in a heavy migraine.
