  Had been taking our Lexus's to a major chain repair shop in the area for well over 10 yrs. We became disappointed in their service several times after a management change. I got a referral from an Auto Parts store after our Lexus Hybrid with higher mileage was flashing some lights and throwing codes for 2 locally owned repair shops in East Cobb and Carter's was one of them. I had it towed to the other one first because it was slightly closer and they said they could not fix the problem, that something was broke way inside the engine and falling apart. I then had it towed to Carter's and they diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately for a very fair price. Carter's will be the maintenance/repair shop for our Lexus vehicles going forward. Very satisfied with their communication, ability to pay the invoice online, and pick the car up after hours as well.

  We've used Carters since the day they opened and I can't say enough good about Jeff and Dave. Great local shop that's worked on 6 cars over the years and have never been disappointed... even when a repair was major, I always felt they were honest and fair with mechanics that have been there long term. I take that as a big plus when guys know us and know our cars.

  Great family owned place. They saved me hundreds of dollars compared to what the dealership wanted for just general maintenence.

  We have been coming here for years and have recommended your shop to many friends and neighbors but that has come to an end today. We were charged for a diagnosis that you were unable to diagnose. When we towed the car to you Friday, the check engine light was on and by the time you got around to looking at it on Monday, it was off. If you knew, you couldn’t Do diagnose the problem without the check engine light being on, why did you look at it to begin with instead of calling and saying bring it back when the light turns back on. After paying $800 yesterday,my car is now stranded in Kennesaw with the check engine light on and flashing and you’re telling me I need to have it towed again and pay again for you to even look at it. Horrible customer service.

  I had an old 1997 gird Aerostar van. Had it from new. Developed brake trouble. These guys spent hours/days trying find a fix the problem. They got the van on the road again! Outstanding people. Have the wife’s Mazda3 booked in rather than the dealer. They should have a 10 star rating!!
