Absolute corporate incompetence and a textbook bait-and-switch operation. I completed my entire online check-in, verified my identity, and had a guaranteed reservation lock for a heavy-duty vehicle platform. I showed up at 4:00 PM on a Monday right after a grueling corporate fabrication shift, only to be told they completely thrashed my vehicle assignment and didn't even have the class of vehicle I contracted on the lot.To completely cross the line into total unprofessionalism, the counter staff refused to honor the contract and weaponized an unlisted, archaic 'physical paper utility bill' requirement that was completely bypassed in their digital check-in system—solely to cover up the fact that they ran out of cars. Standing at a counter and having your time aggressively stolen by disorganized staff after a hard day's work is unacceptable. They didn’t just fail a reservation; they structurally sabotaged a vital timeline for a local worker. Absolute garbage-tier customer service. Avoid this specific location at all costs. Go to Enterprise or Hertz where they actually respect human beings.

Reservations will lie to you better explain they will deceive you and then when you go to the counter, it’s a totally different circumstance. The best thing to do is go to enterprise walk inside enterprise and deal with the counter. Budget is a joke.

I’ve rented from Budget several times, and everything has been seamless. No complaints whatsoever! Check them out.
