- SNSix NineOct 21, 20261.0Very poor customer service. I walked in, and no one acknowledged me. Someone walked in behind me, said hello, and no one came to assist him either. I heard laughing, so I picked up a clipboard and made a little noise to get someone’s attention. A male employee with locs eventually came out. I explained what I needed, but he proceeded to help the person in front of me. Once he was finished, I clearly asked for a diagnostic check. I explained that I wanted to check for any additional issues because I had heard a noise. He went inside, and I eventually heard him say they were short-staffed, even though I had heard people laughing when I first walked in. When he finally came outside, he handed me a piece of paper stating that they don’t check noises and began walking away. I clarified that I wasn’t there just for the noise, and he appeared visibly annoyed because I was asking questions. His attitude made me uncomfortable enough that I decided to leave because I felt like he might lose his temper. I understand that staff was short, but so was his temper. He did provide some assistance, but the customer service was poor overall.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
