  What started off as an extremely irritating experience in the Snellville store ended on a positive note thanks to Kobe in the Lilburn store. I want to start by explaining everything that Kobe did right. The associate in the Snellville store did not know how to process an online return and was not willing to take any additional steps to find out how to do so. So instead of wasting my time and going back home and waiting to speak to a general manager, I took it upon myself to call the nearest store to find out if someone there could help me. Kobe answered the phone and was immediately willing to help. Even though he didn’t know what to do initially, he made the effort by calling his general manager to find out how the return could be processed. I was physically in the Snellville store and Kobe was in the Lilburn store. He stayed on the phone with me on speaker attempting to walk the Snellville associates through the return process while simultaneously assisting customers in his own store. Even when the associates couldn’t figure out where to go in the system, Kobe never showed signs of frustration. He never suggested I give up or come back another time. I am just blown away by his commitment and I hope that his employers are recognizing him as an individual who is committed to his job. He is committed to providing exemplary customer service to customers who are not even in his own store. I really hope that he’s being groomed for management because he really showed leadership quality during the entire interaction. This employee represented Advance Auto extremely well.

  Unfortunately, my car broke down in the parking lot of this Advance Auto Parts location. What could have been a very stressful experience turned into one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. After my car wouldn't start, I went back inside the store for help. The cashier (Jasmine) immediately stepped in and began assisting me. Shortly thereafter, the General Manager, Tameria, came outside to help diagnose the problem. Together, we determined that the car needed a new alternator. To make matters more challenging, it was an extremely hot day, and I had my sick husband with me. The staff went above and beyond by helping me get him out of the car and into the store, where they provided him with a chair and water while we waited for a mechanic to arrive. Although I purchased the alternator, the store did not have one in stock. The exceptional service didn't stop there. Once Tameria learned that a mechanic was on the way to install the part, she personally drove to another location to pick up the alternator so we wouldn't have to wait any longer. I have rarely experienced this level of kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern for a customer. Tameria and her team turned a difficult situation into a positive experience, and I am incredibly grateful for their help. I will absolutely recommend this Advance Auto Parts location to anyone needing parts or assistance. Thank you, Tameria and team, for going above and beyond!
