  They did the work quick and properly, but I had to explain to them that when getting new front tires, you move the rear tires to the front and put the new ones in the back. This is done regardless of whether the vehicle is FWD, AWD, or RWD. This is an industry standard outlined by Michelin and the Tire Industry Association. There are safety reasons for why it is done this way. The employees at Mavis have clearly never heard of this and looked at me like I was crazy when I tried to explain it. They did it this way after I asked them to but charged for a tire rotation. Everywhere else includes the moving of the rear tires to the front in the installation cost, because that is the standard procedure. It is not an additional tire rotation service. This shows to me that Mavis is incompetent as a tire change service and I will not be using them again.

  In my experience, Mavis Tire - Lee County has friendly staff and the service is prompt, proficient and professional.
