Terrible customer service; they need more staff to answer calls. Necesitan más personal para atender las llamadas de los clientes.

I returned the car 4/29 and the next day I called to report i left my handicapped parking tag on the visor. I have called 2 other times to no avail. I was first told they would check with the person who cleans the cars. I have received no call from Enterprise and I believe there mist be a thief amongst their team. Who would steal a handicapped hang tag???

Enterprise Representative was very polite. He greeted me the moment I walked in. He assisted me in getting the best available car on the lot. I appreciated the quick rental process.

Dear Enterpise, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your Enterprise location. As a Navy Federal employee, I have frequently recommended this branch to colleagues based on its historically strong customer service. Unfortunately, my most recent interaction was extremely disappointing and has led me to reconsider both my personal patronage and professional referrals. This past weekend was intended to be a significant and joyful occasion, as I had scheduled an engagement photoshoot and reserved a luxury vehicle for the event. My reservation was set for Thursday, with the expectation of receiving a premium vehicle such as a BMW or Audi. On the Monday prior, I received a call from a branch representative, who identified herself as Jayla (or Jaylen). During that call, I was informed that due to high demand related to spring break and prom season, vehicle availability was uncertain. However, I was explicitly told that I would be contacted if the vehicle did not become available. I did not receive any follow-up communication on Tuesday or Wednesday. Based on that, I reasonably assumed my reservation would be honored. I left work early on Thursday to pick up the vehicle, only to be informed upon arrival that no cars were available. When I attempted to address this, the branch manager responded in a dismissive and unprofessional manner, stating that I had already been told there would be no cars. When I clarified that I was promised a follow-up call, she replied that no call simply meant no availability—an explanation that reflects a lack of basic customer service standards. Throughout the interaction, I was repeatedly told to “take it or leave it,” with no effort made to accommodate my situation or acknowledge the importance of the occasion. I was eventually offered a Nissan Rogue, which does not meet the definition of a luxury vehicle. Despite this, I was told I would still be charged at a comparable rate. No alternative solutions, pricing adjustments, or goodwill gestures were offered. After waiting approximately two hours, I was finally provided with a Mazda. During this time, the manager’s demeanor remained consistently rude and dismissive. Additionally, when I inquired about pricing discrepancies, I was told bluntly that “corporate rates are the same,” without any attempt to address my concern. Compounding this already frustrating experience, I encountered a safety issue upon re-entering the branch. A metal piece from the door detached and struck my leg, causing a scratch. I immediately brought this to the attention of staff and handed the detached piece to an employee. Despite the seriousness of this incident, I did not receive an apology or any acknowledgment of concern. Due to this series of events, I was unable to proceed with my engagement photoshoot, resulting in wasted expenses for the rental, as well as hair, makeup, and other preparations. What should have been a meaningful and memorable day was instead overshadowed by frustration and disappointment. I am requesting that this matter be escalated and formally reviewed, including any available surveillance footage and recorded calls. I would also appreciate a response regarding how Enterprise intends to address both the customer service failures and the safety concern I experienced. I can be reached at your convenience to discuss this matter further. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely,

My experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car was completely unacceptable from start to finish. This was an insurance claim rental, and I was told I would have a vehicle reserved equivalent to my own. I was instructed to drop my car off at the collision center, where an Enterprise associate would pick me up—which they did. However, upon arriving at the location, I immediately noticed multiple upset customers being told there were no vehicles available. Despite having a reservation, I was then told they could not provide me with a suitable vehicle—only a small compact car that did not meet my needs. While the initial representative was polite, the situation quickly escalated when a manager named Jaylin intervened. Jaylin was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She told me that due to spring break, there were no cars available and that I would need to call around to other locations myself. When I asked if she could assist with that, she refused, stating it was not part of her job. Instead of offering solutions, she told me I could either take the compact car or leave. When I asked for her full name, she refused to provide it and claimed she was not obligated to do so. She also stated she was the manager, which made her behavior even more concerning. When I requested to speak with someone else, I was told there was no one else available. The situation became even worse when she demanded I leave the store, refused to arrange a return ride (even though Enterprise had picked me up), and told me to walk back to the collision center—approximately 2 miles away and called me names as I was leaving the store. Thankfully, another employee stepped in and took me back, despite her trying to prevent him from doing so. I was later informed that she placed me on a “do not rent” list, which feels like a complete abuse of authority given the circumstances. I was treated with disrespect, denied basic customer service, and left without a solution after following their instructions. I have attempted to contact corporate multiple times and have received no response. This experience was beyond frustrating and completely unprofessional. I would strongly caution others before using this location.
