  Today Wednesday 13/May/2026 I went to get a battery swapped out. I shop at this autozone location several times. I've gotten batteries here on 2 different occasions, and they've always change out the battery for me. Which is one of the reasons why I love coming back. Today i came to purchase a new battery and William who works here said that I needed uninstall it myself and install the new one. I was confused that he would say that because you guys offere free installation batter service whenever you purchase a new battery. I was confused why William would make that statement since its his job to uninstall and install the new one or at least install the new one. When I uninstalled the old battery he also had me bring it in around the store and place it on cart organizing it with the next older batteries I was confused again cause I'm pretty sure thats Williams job not mine I'm not an employee also I am not getting paid to do that his job. At the time I came this location was not busy there were employees on their phones and maybe one person in the store shopping.

  I was very disappointed about my experience at this location. I came in to visit on Tuesday of this week and a very kind black male helped me pick a battery, did a battery diagnosic on my old battery, and set me up to get an install. I wasnt planning on getting the battery that day I just wanted information to know how much it would charge. I told him I would come back the next day to have it installed. I ended up coming back Thursday morning and there was a very rude spanish male who did not want to help me at all. He told me my car needed a restart before the battery could be changed and he was yelling through out the store saying she has BJ's car. He said it needs a reset. I called the Jeep location I purchased the car and they told me I did not need a car restart to gain a new battery. I had to end up missing work the next day because he wouldn't help me and all the stores where closed when I got off work that current day. The next day I went to a very nice auto zone in Stone Mountain Georgia and they were able to change my battery and also provide me an exchange fee that I got back from purchasing the battery and returning my old one. This location appeared to show racial profiling or discrimination because the two spanish employees that where there on Thursday morning around 7:30 am were very rude and unhelpful. I also want to inform they also suggested a random stranger change my battery for me for 80 dollars which I thought was completely rude. Im so thank you for the kind employees at the Auto Zone in Stone Mountain for helping me because this location in Lawrenceville was very rude and unhelpful.

  I want to give a special shoutout to Yolanda at AutoZone. Her help was truly exceptional. She was friendly, patient, and very professional from the moment I walked in. She not only guided me through what I needed, but she also went above and beyond by helping me change my windshield wipers right there. That level of service really makes a difference. Employees like Yolanda make the whole experience better. Thank you so much for your outstanding service!

  Pretty quick service. Bought some brake pads and cashier snuck in additional items and tried to charge me without telling me.
