  Clean facility but the shower room was damaged from an irate customer and the shower was broken and got told by the on duty manager to ask for a different shower next time after having my chest burned by scalding hot water because the shower was broken. No kind of compassion or feelings of fault

  As a frequent traveler through this area, I typically make a stop at Flying J. However, this is the last time I will be doing so. I have ceased all business with Flying J and strongly advise others to follow suit. The reason for my decision is the appalling and rude service I received from a cashier, possibly a supervisor, who happens to be an elderly Black woman. Her attitude towards customers was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. When I requested assistance in obtaining a meatloaf, she displayed a lack of interest and responded sarcastically with derogatory language and an unfriendly demeanor. Despite my repeated requests, she refused to serve me and instead turned her back, walking away a few feet away while ignoring me. She then began to fabricate a story, claiming uncertainty about my request. This behavior is unacceptable and demonstrates a complete disregard for customer service. It is evident that I clearly stated my desire for a meatloaf, and her attempt to imply that I wanted a meal was highly inappropriate. As a cashier, she should be aware that meatloafs and sides are sold separately, and I explicitly requested only the meatloaf. In conclusion, I have decided to discontinue my patronage of Flying J for all services, including food and fuel. I strongly recommend that Flying J hire professional employees who prioritize customer respect and provide exceptional service. I comprehend that she may harbor personal issues, but it is inappropriate to exhibit such negativity and hostility towards customers. Furthermore, when I was in the restroom, I overheard her defaming me. She defended herself to everyone present and then against my will while I was about to leave the store, attempting to shout “stop” as if she had something to say. I informed her that the service was subpar and that I was not interested in discussing the situation further. Her anger escalated, and she attempted to manipulate me into believing her lies. It is evident that she was lying to everyone present, including me. If the owner wishes to review the footage, it should be done as it occurred around 7 pm or later on July 2, 2026. Otherwise, if she is questioned about the incident, I am confident that she will lie, just as she did to everyone else. Observe her unpleasant demeanor. There is no justification for acting in such a manner in defense of herself; it is simply a display of guilt. In summary, flying J lost a customer and should prevent further damage to other customers. This incident could potentially lead to lawsuits. Therefore, it is crucial for the store to implement training programs for their employees to ensure they provide professional and courteous service. This training should be straightforward and focused on basic customer service principles.

  Well, at least you can always find a parking spot here.... besides that, yeah not great... showers are small and poorly maintained, bathrooms not cleaned regularly... not a great food options (no one wants to eat subway anymore, no one wants chemicals in their bread any more...)
