  My first visit here was for a check of my passenger side CV Axle Boot which was breached and leaking grease. I was quoted to replace the entire axle, and even the unfaulty driver side axle as well (unnecessary). The price of the problematic axle was a NAPA CV Axle quoted for $471; however, the same part if bought from NAPA is only $243. This doesn't even account for labor which, when you add it up together, came to over $800. This is more than twice the price that you could find at a trustworthy independent mechanic's shop. My second visit was to get a free alignment check. I was told that, if failed, an alignment would cost $112. While waiting on the alignment check my wife and I noticed it was taking too long; and, upon checking in, she came to realize they were already doing the overpriced alignment. There was no consent to this alignment, only an acknowledgement of what it would cost if pursued. I was not given any paperwork to sign, any quote to see visually, nor was I told the status of the alignment check prior to them starting work. One mechanic even made the comment in a crabby tone, "Why would you even get it inspected if you aren't going to get it fixed?". This kind of logic completely defeats the purpose of a "free alignment check" other than serving as a backdoor tool for the greedy company to upsell services. Thankfully they waived the fee of the alignment, only after setting the alignment back to a failed state, before letting us go.
