March 29th I went into this location for an alignment. Since then I've purchased four tires due to excess wear on the inner tire on the passenger side of my 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport, which is now happening to both the driver and passenger side.
I'm not a mechanic, but I know when my vehicle starts pulling to either side and tires being eaten up.to look at alignment.
I decided to visit a Mavis in Macon Ga. To inspect the problem. The technicians brought it to my attention that the driver side tie rod nut had been welded/fused together due to excessive heat.
A mavis representative at the macon, ga location, and I called the jacksonville fl location and the corporate office for resolution. Especially when the rep in Jacksonville Fl, (Kingsland area) admitted that they used a torch to heat the nut, and a chisel to attempt to loosen it. Basically admitting that they infused/welded, the tie rod and nut together.
After calling corporate who referred me to the Regional Training Manager for further assistance. My first attempt to reach out to Victor, RTM for Mavis was yesterday 5/17/26 Sunday, on and off all day on 5/18/26.
I have not received any response to any of my voice mails.
You'd think Mavis would protect its integrity with its customers.
Jacksonville (Kingsland) admitted they messed up. But wants me to drive 4-5 hrs from macon ga to Jacksonville fl to fix my jeep. Rather than making a decision to coordinate with there own macon ga location to fix the mistake.
I now have a vehicle that I'm unable to have serviced, my jeep is near inoperable.
Both my driver and passenger side tires are already worn and I purchased them on 5/16/26.
Below is an example of one of my tiered i had to replace.

1 star because the man at the front desk was nice. I went in for a tire change, appointment at 2. Sat there for an hour and a half just for them to take my tire off and say they no longer have the ones they were going to put on there. Bought online is what I was told but then why take the tire off or even telling me we are good to go before visually verifying the tires are there? I got requoted for different ones at a higher price but seeing as I have already been sitting there I declined. As I was there I heard a couple other customers unhappy as well so that maybe should have been my indication to leave. I did not yell or get upset with them but it was super duper frustrating
Reply: 100% not miscommunication i have logs of 2 phone calls where both times it was said the tires were there. And when I got there again said it was good to go. 1 1/2 later it was "bad news" the tires are sold online and sumin about how you guys didnt control that YET my tire was already off?? I got quoted a higher price too for different ones and was like uh no. I wanted my back tires rotated to the front and was told they were dry rotted and not good to move. Went to Discount tire in yulee, not even dry rotted they were literally fine and moved with no problem. Accountability goes a long way, dont tell people they are good to go if they arent.

By far the best Mavis location! Would like to give a special shoutout to Roger and John for going above and beyond to help me on short notice with a flat tire. Genuinely could not appreciate them anymore I live 45 minutes out and will solely only use this location from now highly recommend this Mavis location

I’m new to the area here in Kingsland, and I am so glad I found this place!
I stopped by Mavis on a Thursday literally two minutes before they closed, and they still took the time to give me an estimate.
I spoke with Kane, and he was awesome—he offered to patch my tire for free just for leaving a Google review!
Honestly, being new here and starting a new job is stressful, so that offer really helped me out big time!
I came back on Saturday and even though they were busy, I was only there for about an hour.
They patched the tire, put my spare back where it belongs, and gave me a straight-up update on when I’ll need new ones.
No BS, no trying to overcharge me.
I also loved how the staff actually respects each other and the shop is clean and organized. I’ll definitely be back when it’s time for those new tires.
Issa 10 out of 10 recommend for me!
If you need tires or brakes, come see them!
