  I made an appointment to get new tires for my truck. I made the appointment online and ordered the tires…or so I thought, lol. A few minutes after I had made the appointment online I remembered that I was replacing 5 tires instead of 4 so I called the store to see if they can add another one to the order. Turns out, for some reason my order was never submitted to the store. Well, that was the only issue I had with this experience. When I called the store, to add the 5th tire they were able to straighten everything out and still reserve the original time slot I had booked online. The staff running the store has changed from the last time I visited, and I must say, it’s a huge improvement. Overall great experience today and would recommend this store to everyone.

  Mavis tire is just OK, they are not for everyone. I will not be back but I'm also not here to gouge anyone. 2 stars Here's my story. 2/2026 - I go to Mavis tire for my 2023 Frontier Pro 4x, bought it new, has 19,000 miles on it now. Rear tire developed a slow leak. I seen a questionable slash but nothing was in the tire. Dropped the full sized spare that came with the truck in my driveway, put it on the truck and rolled the leaky tire into Mavis, "I need a tire repair" Mavis him hauled around about "We might be able to fix it, could create a potential road hazard or blow out" You know, the scare tactic. I asked, "So what are my options?" Obviously they came back with, "new tire" And I was open to it, Until they said. "Well, unfortunately the tire on your truck is discontinued." Which in there eyes it is, but you can buy these from tire rack.com all day long For me? I'm not putting a different tread on 1 tire on my truck and I wasn't open to buying 4 new tires for 1 bad one. They said they would attempt to fix the leak but made no promises and I totally understood this and I'm good with it. "As Is" So the tire still leaked from day 1 after the repair, when I'd use the truck every few days the TPMS would say is has 27PSI in it, I'd fill it and it would drop again 2 days later. I dealt with it for 4 or 5 months, and I still remember patches have no guarantee. So now it's summer and it's hot out and pumping this tire up is getting on my nerves. So I dropped the spare again in my driveway, and took the leaky tire off the truck and left the truck in my driveway on jack stands Load the two tires in my car, took it to Mavis with receipt in hand just to provide tire history. Let them know I'd like a 2nd attempt at the leaky tire, or I'd like the tires swapped on the rim. I'm not asking for any of this for free, I understand what "As is" means, Remind you my spare tire has about 10 miles on from 2/2026. Mavis hits me with, "They won't swap the spare tire off the rim and put it on the factory aluminum rim because the spare tire is used and it's a cooperate liability" They suggested a mom and pop shop, which sounds like a perfect solution for all my tire needs so that's what I did and will be doing. So Mavis has seen my first and last $30 Mom and pop shop $30 for tire repair Mavis if you want to know what the fix was, there was an additional pin hole in the tire. Mavis is a cooperation and it's focused on brand new spanky clean money, and money they control. If you're ok with that they can probably provide you good service. But for me, if they can't work with me on $30-100 transactions why would I work with them again on $800-1200 transactions. Good luck everyone, stay safe.

  Very poor experience. I decided to give this tire shop a chance because they had a deal on the set of 4 tires I needed for my car. I scheduled an appointment for today at 10:00 AM and arrived 15 minutes early, assuming the time would be respected. I waited until 11:25 AM and they hadn't done anything. It wasn't worth waiting any longer because it didn't look like they were going to start working on my car anytime soon. So, I just went back home. I wasted an hour and a half of my time, not to mention the time and gas spent driving back and forth.

  Do not take your car to Mavis I find it very much amusing how people post their fake reviews on here from employees that actually work together that are family members and that’s actually against the Mavis Way. My husband had his car worked on up there in May and I was behind him and I watched him dart to the left, and then I watched him switch to the right. Very little miles on the car and come to find out, there were several pieces of his suspension that was that was damaged from their ignorance. This is very concerning not only did we lose on the suspension parts. We lost out on brand new tires that we personally had bought that Mavis put on there. This is a complete violation of safety codes, this is a complete violation of business ethics, and they are not doing anything to rectify the situation and we spent almost $2000 there. These guys are crooks and they are liars. They do not walk with integrity and they will not do what they claim. I assume the Mavis way is to rip off every customer they possibly can. And again look at the fake reviews. Managers of leaving them, their cousins are leaving them, and they’re not even supposed to have family working together. What could’ve happened could’ve led into a very bad fatal car accident so naturally my husband is very upset. Very frustrated. Needless to say, I would be angry too, and I know several other people would be angry as well because of their lack of care. And they want to dismiss this and close down his case, even though we could easily get an attorney involved, sue them for a lot more, for pain and suffering in the fact that we lost almost 2 grand that we poured into my husband’s classic car. Do not take your car to this location or any other Mavis shop they will rip you off. They are dishonest on every scale. Since when is it OK for any retail shop or mechanic shop or whatever it might call you guys to dismiss a customer when he has a valid complaint? And when I said that it could’ve been a terrible accident, it could have been a fatal car accident because of their lack of accountability and integrity. Furthermore, my husband submitted pictures to Google review just to see that they are taken off by Mavis themselves. They were just posted within the last 36 hours they’re not showing up

  ⚠️ WARNING — SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD — ZERO STARS ⚠️ I brought my 1965 Chevrolet Impala (a classic collector vehicle) to Mavis Tires & Brakes in Hoschton, GA around May 1, 2026 for a complete suspension job. They also installed brand new Goodyear General tires at the same time. I paid approximately $1,800-$2,000 for this work. Less than 500 MILES later I noticed my tires were toeing out and feathering badly. I put the vehicle on a lift and was absolutely shocked at what I found: — Tie rod sleeve on driver side LOOSE with STRIPPED OUT nuts and bolts — Outer tie rod bushing on passenger side DAMAGED — Both upper ball joint bushings on BOTH sides DAMAGED — Sway bar bolt on passenger side BUSTED — Brand new Goodyear General tires DESTROYED from severe feathering The steering was so loose the vehicle darted from one side of the road to the other. This vehicle was NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. At highway speed I could have lost complete steering control and caused a serious or fatal accident — not just to myself but to every other driver on the road. I took the vehicle to a second reputable shop who confirmed every single finding AND discovered additional problems Mavis created. That shop tightened the sleeves and made the vehicle road worthy enough to drive home — AND THEY DID IT ALL FOR FREE. A shop that had absolutely nothing to do with this situation showed more professionalism, integrity, and decency than Mavis who took my $1,800-$2,000 and left me with a dangerously unsafe classic vehicle. I have photos, video, and written documentation of all defects. I have witnesses. The repairs are STILL NOT FULLY RESOLVED. I am now demanding full compensation from Mavis corporate to have this work completed correctly at a shop of my choosing. I will NEVER allow Mavis Hoschton to touch my vehicle again. When I brought this to Mavis attention the assistant manager was dismissive, questioned why I was just bringing it in, and showed complete indifference to a serious safety hazard that his shop created. Mavis took zero responsibility and offered nothing. IF THIS IS NOT PROPERLY RESOLVED THEY WILL BE SPEAKING TO MY ATTORNEY. I HAVE PHOTOS, VIDEO, DOCUMENTATION, AND WITNESSES. Do NOT bring your vehicle — especially a classic or collector car — to this location. What Mavis Hoschton did to my irreplaceable 1965 Impala was negligent, dangerous, and could have been fatal.
