I can’t say enough wonderful things about Mavis Tires & Brakes in Hoschton! Nathan and Steve were absolutely fantastic. I had a flat tire and they went above and beyond by taking me in after closing hours to get it repaired. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help when they easily could have turned me away truly meant so much. Thank you, Nathan and Steve, for taking such great care of me and getting me safely back on the road. I couldn’t thank you enough! Customer service like this is hard to find, and I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! 👏❤️

I’ve been a loyal customer to this Mavis location in Hoschton, Ga since the week they opened this store. I scheduled an oil change online earlier this morning for a 5PM oil change this afternoon. I arrived at Mavis at 4:50 PM, after leaving work an hour and half early to get here on time, and the manager tells me that they’re not gonna do it today that they just took in their last vehicle for the evening. No phone call! No email! No communication beforehand. I then told the manager that I was leaving to go out of town in the morning therefore I don’t have time to get it done this late in the day before I leave in the morning and all he said was yea, well sorry, I can’t do it. He could care less. I would’ve been fine with scheduling somewhere else had they taken the time to call or email me that they were not going to be able to do the 5pm oil change that I scheduled online. Unfortunately, this is what you get with big business chains. They care less about loyalty and repeat customers. Better off sticking to and supporting small independent hometown businesses.

I had such a great experience at Mavis Tire! Charles was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. I was running a little late for my appointment and felt terrible about it, but they were so understanding and still worked me right in. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming, and I never felt rushed or like I was an inconvenience. Amazing customer service! I really appreciate Charles and the whole team and will definitely be coming back!

Had an appointment at 9am, told the desk guy I wanted them to check my tpms (replace due to sensor light being on while all tires were at 35-36 psi) plus an oil change. 4pm comes and I go inside the store to get my car, the lady behind the desk does not greet me instead she’s on the phone talking about her personal life and talking poorly of her workplace. I patiently waited til she finally noticed me, tells me the cost but doesn’t explain anything about the car. I looked over the invoice myself and see they had check the tpms so I paid and left. 10mins down the road the tpms light came on again and I turned around heading back to mavis. Went inside and explained to the same lady and she told the mechanic the light still showing, he took my car into the shop and only checked the tire pressure and returned back to me saying that the light is gone. (Light was gone because he turned the car off, didn’t bother to wait to see if the light came back on),10mins later again the light came back on. I Gave up with that shop and I decided then that I will not go back and take my car somewhere else.

Monday, mid afternoon, August 3rd at the 6055 GA-124 Hoschton Georgia location I pulled into the parking lot to see if I could get a valve stem installed on a wheel and tire I just purchased for my lifted Ford F450, the valve stem had been broken off about 6 months ago when someone removed the wheel and tire, it set outside shop until I bought it so it was deflated and had a lot of rain water inside. Before I could get my tailgate all the way down a technician was beside me, he hopped up in the bed and located the one I needed to get repaired, looked it over and said "I don't have a way to get the tire off the rim to get the water out" but soon as he finished saying that he said "I have an idea" then rolled the tire to the end of the bed, hopped down and before I could help him lift it to the ground he was already rolling it into the shop and seeing if his idea would work. I walked into the waiting area and watched him get just enough room to get a suction tube in and fished it around to remove all the water and replace the stem. Rolled the repaired wheel out to my truck, loaded it up for me told me "all done, have a nice day" and went back to work. I can't remember his name but he was average build white guy with black hair maybe 30. I hope he gets some kind of kudos for helping me. Restores my faith in people and those of us who turn wrenches for a living. I know this has to be the longest "great" review your AI has ever seen. A little more and I'll be done. I have been working for Delta Airlines for 37 years as a Jet engine mechanic, 30 years building and testing them in our test cells and currently supervising all of the mechanics and the operation. I have a real appreciation for people who go above and beyond to do there job and help people, something he didn't know about me when I pulled into the parking lot and he met me at the back of my truck is that I'm a 100% permanently and totally service connected disabled veteran who is having major spinal reconstruction surgery in 3 weeks and not supposed to lift anything over 5 lbs. He didn't know that. I know how hard it is to find the good mechanics with the "get in there and get the job done" attitude. I didn't expect you would have large enough equipment to get the tire off the rim to get the water out I was driving by and just thought I would swing in and ask. I was right, you didn't have the right equipment but you had the right guy. Keep up the good work and thank you for helping me.
