- SGStephanie Gale3 days ago3.0I rented a deck boat for four hours on Sunday, July 5, 2026. The directions to the marina were clear, and the check-in process was smooth. However, after we boarded the boat, we were informed that the boat's speakers were not working. We were told they had conveniently stopped working that same day. I asked if another boat was available, but unfortunately, it had already been rented out. Later, we discovered that the USB charging ports on the boat also were not functioning. One of the passengers had a low phone battery, so this was another advertised feature that we were unable to use. I asked if any discount or partial refund could be offered due to these issues, but my request was declined. We also had to return to the dock because our anchor became stuck on something underwater. I understand this was not the company's fault. However, it would have been appreciated if someone could have come out to assist us rather than requiring us to use additional fuel to return to the dock. Under normal circumstances, I would overlook minor inconveniences, but I spent several hundred dollars on the boat rental and nearly another hundred dollars refueling it. For the price paid, I expected the boat's advertised features to be functional or, at the very least, for the company to make an effort to address the issues ahead of our arrival. I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service and the unwillingness to provide any accommodation when multiple features of the boat were unavailable.
