Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.
Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples.
Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.
There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

Mr Good was awesome! Very welcoming and helpful. He got me a great deal on 4 new tires, he also showed me the wear of the old ones which did show evidence of needing an alignment soon to make these new ones last as long as possible. I’ll definitely be coming back for that! I asked to keep one of my old tires which was a recent replacement so i could keep for a full size spare and they even bagged it up nicely so it wouldn’t dirty my trunk! And thanks to the mechanics for being quick with the work too!

I went there first time for oil change on my vehicle to discover the previous owner had the oil done at another shop, they had torqued the filter on to the point that the mechanic at Mavis almost couldn't get it off, and the drain plug was stripped. both issues were fixed, Alvin and no-no being very helpful.
My next visit was for tires, again Alvin and crew were helpful getting my vehicle in as soon as they could and getting new tires put on. Alvin was helpful in explaining the pricing for not only the tires but for balancing and alignment. I cannot recommend this shop enough to people.

On Thursday my check tire light alerted me to a low pressure problem on the right rear tire. I drove to Mavis Tire there on 85 South close to Chick-fil-A on my lunch break. The staff immediately took my car, checked all the tires and inflated the rear tire that was running low telling me to come back if more problems. NO CHARGE! I brought the car back today- Saturday- because the low pressure sensor was still lighted up. They quickly took the car and discovered a nail- patched it and took care of the problem. Again-NO CHARGE! I am extremely impressed with this business and the staff at this location!! I am now a loyal customer and recommend everyone to use their services!!

Well it's Sunday 06-14-2026. I've been looking and pricing around for an alignment price on a 1989 GMC pickup. I personally replaced the whole front end of the truck and just needed an alignment. I live in Locust Grove Ga. and at first called around several locations near me including the Mavis Stores I each time felt like I was just bothering who ever answered the phone to the point I just gave up. Then my wife told me about the Mavis on N Glynn st how she has had good experience in the past there. So she called within seconds a gentleman by the name of Goode not only hooked me into his store, by acting like he wanted my business, he was patient answered our questions and basically said COME ON I got you. Well I drove the 30 miles passed at least 7 other stores to see if he was a man if his word. Well he was, actually the entire crew was. polite and pleasant. I dropped the truck off and handled our business. This is where I became very impressed. We arrived back at he the Mavis to pick up the truck. We was met by a guy by the name of Harold who immediately took us back to the truck to show his concerns or recommendations about the truck. I rebuilt the front end of this truck myself, he did not know that at this time. He showed me what I missed and explained the other two things I should replace. He did not pressure me and he was very thorough in his explanation of what the truck needed. This is the first shop I've been to in years where I would fell comfortable sending my wife as long as these two Harold and Goode are there because I know they will be honest and forthright in what they recommend. Sorry to be long winded but OUTSTANDING service like this should be recognized and rewarded because you just don't get this home town hospitality anywhere. Thank you Harold and Goode job well done.
