I'm from New England, pulling an RV with my RAM 1500, and staying overnight in Ellijay. I was hearing an increasingly scary wheel noise that I was concerned about, and took it to Mavis, thinking that would be my best chance for a timely repair. I was met at the counter by the owner who asked well structured questions about the noise, explained what he thought the possibilities were, and explained how they would diagnose it. They took it for a test drive, put it up on the rack, and explained what they found and that one front wheel bearing was shot, and recommended the option of replacing both front bearings. He was very clear, and answered all my questions. They also checked brakes and suspension, and said everything else looked good. The full repair was completed in under three hours and I was back on the road. The total cost was reasonable. I went on google and checked the cost of the repair, and they were pretty much in the middle of the estimated range. It is also a standard recommendation to replace both bearings when one goes, and since I was in the middle of an RV road trip I wanted things to be solid. They also rotated the tires and performed an alignment. I was very happy with my service, appreciated the intelligent and clear communication, and would highly recommend them.

I’m new to the area and was looking for a reliable mechanic/tire shop and let me tell you they did not disappoint. I scheduled my appointment online after finding a coupon the night before. When I arrived they confirmed the services I was asking for, while servicing my car they would give me updates and without upselling told me what I needed. I came in for new brakes, and an oil change. All I needed was a brake fluid flush (brakes were in fine condition without needing replacement), oil was changed as requested, they threw in a complimentary battery check and tire rotation. I will be recommending them to anyone I meet in the area and will definitely be using them again for future services as I was out of there within an hour. Huge thanks to the team who works at this location for showing professionalism and friendliness. 10/10
