I am beyond disgusted with my experience with this rental car company. I was involved in an accident that was not even my fault, already dealing with enough stress, and instead of helping, they took complete advantage of the situation.
The representative, Christian, repeatedly lied to me about the pricing. Every week he kept saying I would only be paying around $262, yet somehow the final total came out to almost $1,800 for one month in a basic rental vehicle. At no point did anyone explain that I could return and re-rent the car for a better monthly rate. They knowingly allowed the charges to continue piling up.
What made the situation even worse was the extremely unprofessional behavior from Christian himself. Every time I went to the location asking for a breakdown or printout of the charges, he refused to provide one. Instead of handling things professionally inside the office, he would come outside, sit in the car with me, avoid showing me the actual charges, and make inappropriate sexual advances and he kept saying “I got you”.
I repeatedly asked for transparency regarding what I was being charged and never got a straight answer. All I was told was $300 and something the first week because it included the refundable $50 deposit and then $262 a week, which clearly was not true. I have contacted customer service multiple times, and the matter has supposedly been escalated, yet no one has contacted me back and no one has attempted to resolve anything.
This company is greedy, dishonest, and completely lacks professionalism and accountability. Charging someone nearly $1,800 out of pocket after an accident they didn’t even cause is outrageous enough, but the misleading pricing, refusal to provide documentation, and inappropriate conduct from an employee made this experience even worse.
I would never recommend this company to anyone.
