  I recently rented a vehicle from this location for a work trip, which was my first (and last) time doing so. The staff was friendly and professional, which would have been enough to save this review from being a 1-star. However, the vehicle I was given needed serious attention. I was given a White Nissan Versa (registration tag RQIA08). Initially, everything seemed fine, but after a 10-hour round trip to and from Charlotte, it became evident that this vehicle needed some TLC and should not have been on the road. The first thing I noticed was the filthy windshields. There was a thick layer of old, dried dirt on the windows, and when I tried using the windshield cleaner, I discovered that the dirt was actually on the inside of the glass. The car was also not well-detailed. The side windows, interior crevices, and corners—especially around the vents and armrests—were all dusty and dirty, contributing to a generally unpleasant and uncomfortable drive. To make matters worse, I kept experiencing a constant dry sinus irritation almost immediately when I turned on the AC. This happened during a 5-hour drive in both directions, so I’m sure the air filter had not been changed or maintained properly. Dirty or moldy air filters are a common cause of dry sinus irritation in cars because dust particles or mold are pushed into the cabin via the AC. The final issue I had was that while I was in Charlotte, I discovered that the hood was not secure. My attempts to lock the hood down properly had failed, and I was worried that it would fly open at any moment. I had to drive back to Georgia with extreme caution, fearing that the hood would open and cause me to lose control of the car. In hindsight, I should have looked for a local Enterprise dealer in Charlotte to switch out the car. After returning the car and discussing my experience with the staff, Xavier assured me that the detailing and maintenance issues would be resolved. While this is positive news, we also discovered that the car was missing the “latch” underneath the hood, which is a significant safety concern. Suddenly, I realized that I had driven to Charlotte under the same unsafe conditions as my trip home, except I wasn’t aware at that time! This is the primary reason why the car should be pulled from the rental fleet. Regardless of whether this issue is addressed, I will not be returning as a customer. T.   Reserved my rental and prechecked in 1 month prior. They did not have my rental available. Had to wait for the tire to be fixed, not impressed.

  Really put us in a bad predicament. I reserved a vehicle 5 days ago and 30 minutes before pickup someone called and said that it was unavailable. No other options were offered.
