  They get the job done, eventually, but the customer service is awful. The 2 times I’ve been to this store there is no greeting, or even a “give me a couple minutes I will be right with you.” This time I was standing at the counter, store was dead, the sales guy walks in with a customer from outside and walks up to the counter, doesn’t even look over to acknowledge I am there with me 3 feet from him and I felt I needed to back away as I was a bother. He continues to print something off for the customer and as the customer is looking over his quote, the sales guy is still just stands there quiet. I had to interrupt to let him know I was just there to pick up my truck, he looks at me like I’m crazy and says “what Truck” I tell him and he grabs the keys hands it to me and still no communication. I hope my tires got rotated. I’ll be moving back to Discount Tire from now on.

  I have visited the Dawsonville location multiple times and they are always so helpful. My first 2 visits were after a nail and then a bolt in my tire (due to construction in the neighborhood) and they fixed it for no charge when I had not even been a paying customer yet! Talk about great service!! My husband and I both got tires on our vehicles this summer and they had quality options at competitive prices. This morning my “check your tire” sensor went off. I couldn’t obviously see anything wrong, but was in the area and had some time so I went on in to see if they had time to check it. I did have a nail and they were able to fix it and had me in and out in under 45 minutes as a walk-in and were so nice! You guys can consider me a loyal customer 😀 **attaching a pic of the box they keep on display with items they’ve pulled out of tires- always fascinating to me 😬

  Made an appointment on 9/10/2026 online for 10am, 9/11/2026 for tires. Website said the tires would be on site 9/11/2026. See photo. I got to the Dawsonville GA location a few minutes early, went to the service desk and confirmed my appointment. Ask the person at the desk if I could see a tire from the set I requested, I wanted to make sure the tires were not a more aggressive tread pattern than the picture looked online. The tech went to retrieve a tire, came back after a bit of a wait and said the tires are not there and he check and they do not have the tires at the warehouse or at a nearby sister store but, they do have a set for my truck in stock for only $500 more than the set I ordered and did not offer any other resolution. The text to confirm appointment ,see photo, said they would call if any problems. They did not call! We're they really out of the set I ordered or is this just a shady attempt to upsale a more expensive set of tires. Is this terrible service just bad management at this location or the corporate business model? Grabbed my keys and left never to return. Bought tires from a different tire franchise.

  It is 5:22 I was here for a 4:00 appt. My car is still in the parking lot. He said it would be an hour at 3:50….an hour and a half ago. If they had just been up front I would have made other arrangements but the lack of respect for my time or that I had to hunt someone down to get an update just adds to the misery of this experience. This will be my 6th and last tire here. Update: a 4:00 appt to replace ONE tire….finally pulled my car back at 5:45 and were finished in 15 minutes. Checked out at 6:10 with a sheepish discount (but no apology) It is the disrespect. A return customer with a history of purchasing…To make me sit for 2+ hours for a 15 minute process…well, you don’t want or need my business. To respond: No I will not email you. I just realized when I got home that you did not put my spare tire back just left it in the back of my car for me, a 65 year old woman, to put back. I don’t have any idea where it goes. If this kind of service is what the public can expect I recommend going somewhere else.
