Inaccurate upfront pricing. Initial quote was $99 and I had $30 coupon. When they called saying the car was nearly ready, they said it needs new rear brakes (it very well need new brakes) but when I declined the $600 brake job, the cost of the oil change went up to $113 with the coupon. The person on the phone said the initial quote was wrong because the computer selected non-synthetic bulk oil. Before choosing to write a bad review I called another Mavis in the area and was quoted $100 without discount for full synthetic. Worst part of it all, he didn’t even apologize for his mistake…a little humility goes a long way.

I had 5 star response to the mavis tire business not the Cumming store but the on peach tree, Parkwood, whatever the name that road is highway, 141 and they were hurried to get my truck in there and take a tire off, check it for leaks. It wasn't leaking, it just had gone down for some reason. The other place that I bought it from didn't have time for me and sent me 16 miles further down the road. In morning, traffic, I said 16 miles not 60, but you know, they just they couldn't take the time there wasn't nobody there with the cars they were waiting to put tires on , but there wasn't anybody working on them , so they don't have a enough people , they need to do something about that hire more and have the Mavis owners come spend time there. Or even hire new managers! DON'T GO TO THE CUMMING STORE UNLESS YOU WANT TO CAMP OUT ABOUT FOUR HOURS!

I was having issues with my psi dropping suddenly and called the following morning for estimates. Not only was the estimate reasonable, but they had plenty of availability to handle my issue promptly. Rico went a step further and let me know it’s close to needing to to replace the set. He looked up prices for me and gave me relevant information, as well as answering any questions I had about tread, services, tire brands and their longevity. He was friendly, helpful, informative, and patient. I would definitely recommend this location for promptness and being knowledgeable without taking advantage of someone who is not familiar with this kind of service.

Rico and the gentlemen at Mavis were kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough and professional when I thought I might have a nail in a (very expensive) tire. They were slammed on a weekend, but still took the time to check and fill each of my tires, and helped me to make an appointment to look at them all thoroughly on the lift later in the day. They lifted the car and checked them all over again and thankfully, nothing was wrong, but they were so kind and didn’t charge me a dime. I was so thankful they didn’t dismiss my concerns and took such great care to make sure nothing was wrong, but to come back if anything changed. I will absolutely be back. 💕
