I cannot recommend this shop if you need your vehicle back in a timely manner. We dropped our car off on Saturday, and they told us they could not look at it until Monday. By Tuesday, we had not heard back, so we called for an update. We were promised a phone call by the end of the day, but we had to follow up ourselves again at closing time. It was then that we were told the transmission was bad, but they did not provide a written inspection report or explain the cause of failure. They did promise to get us a repair quote. We waited until Thursday evening and still did not receive a follow-up or a price estimate. On Friday morning, we called to request our car back so we could take it somewhere else. Going a full week without a vehicle is a major inconvenience for a family of four, and there was very little urgency to help us. For comparison, we took the car to a different shop on Friday at lunchtime. By Saturday lunchtime, they had already sent us a complete digital inspection report with photos, explanation of what is failing, and 2 possible solutions to take and next steps to help us make a decision. The communication at Hebert Automotive needs significant improvement.
