Oil is the lifeblood of every standard vehicle on the road. It's crucial to regularly check your oil and schedule oil change service for your car to ensure it runs properly. Regular service also allows us to check for leaks in your engine that could shorten your vehicle's lifespan and lead to other avoidable problems.
Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.
We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.
Proper wheel and tire alignment helps your car's tires last longer, increases fuel economy, and improves your vehicle's handling. Our highly-trained tire alignment experts are ready to provide you the reliable, quality service you need to get back on the road.
Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.
Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples.
Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.
There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

Dawn, the assistant service manager, and Jim, the service manager, were excellent help. I had a nail in my tire and took the car in at 530pm. They fixed it and very accommodating even thought it was last minute and late in the day.
This Mavis is always great for service and their hospitality

I had a good experience with this Mavis Tires & Brakes location. I previously brought in a set of tires I had purchased elsewhere and had them mount and install them on my vehicle. The pricing was fair and right about what I expected. There was a small issue afterward with one tire leaking due to a valve stem, but I brought it back and they took care of it free of charge without any hassle.
More recently, my car battery died overnight after a cargo light was accidentally left on, and they were willing to charge it for me. I appreciated them helping me out with that. The staff has been straightforward and professional in my experience. They did mention my brake pads were getting low, which was true, but they did not come across as pushy or like they were trying to sell me work I did not need immediately.
Overall, solid service, fair pricing, and they handled the follow-up issue the right way. I would recommend this location.

Quick and easy. A little higher priced than Costco/Sam's but needed same day service.
Only had two available today, took less than an hour! Will be back Mon. for the other two.

Had a nail in my tire this morning and late for a meeting this morning. Stopped by Mavis on Schomburg to see if they could look at it. Dawn was wonderful and assured me it wouldn’t take long. I was on my way in 30 minutes. Thanks
