- WBWork BusinessOct 22, 20265.0The general manager Mack was so helpful and instrumental in me getting my car back on the road. Car maintenance is frustrating and annoying to manage and from the time I walked Into the store he helped me, made finding what I needed easy, supported me in shopping for parts and even shed light on the online only discount offers. This is my new home auto parts store, thanks Mack! And his staff was super helpful also.

Mack the general manager not only did he assist me with find the part I needed at an awesome price, he also assisted with getting my glove box door back on my vehicle. He was patient and polite and I appreciate the awesome service!!
- LLLoretta LutinOct 9, 20265.0This was my first time coming to this location and definitely won’t be my last. I came in with to get some new windshield wipers. The gentleman behind the counter (Mack) first greeted me as I walked into the store. He definitely knows how to multitask and acknowledge everyone in the line as well, he still assisted the customer he had in front of him. He was efficient and very Pleasant. He met me outside to install the wipers and got back on the road just into before the rain started coming down. Thank you again Mack!

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
