Oil Change Services

Oil is the lifeblood of every standard vehicle on the road. It's crucial to regularly check your oil and schedule oil change service for your car to ensure it runs properly. Regular service also allows us to check for leaks in your engine that could shorten your vehicle's lifespan and lead to other avoidable problems.

Tire Rotation

Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.

Brakes Service & Repair

Regular brake inspections help you to know when to service your brakes and can save you money by finding needed repairs before they become severe.

Mufflers & Exhaust

We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.

Wheel Alignment

Proper wheel and tire alignment helps your car's tires last longer, increases fuel economy, and improves your vehicle's handling. Our highly-trained tire alignment experts are ready to provide you the reliable, quality service you need to get back on the road.

Shocks, Struts & Suspension Replacement

Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.

Car Battery Replacement and Installation

Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples. Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.

TPMS Sensor Replacement

There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

We accidentally ran over a nail while pulling over for an ambulance while on the way to North Carolina from Florida, we pulled up to Mavis Tires & Brakes in Atlanta and realized the shop was closing soon… however, the shop owner Mr.Tyrone happened to walk by us, asked us what the problem was and offered to help us even tho he could’ve kept on walking. He and Mr.Jay hooked us up with some affordable tires and we went on our way. VERY nice people, they treat their customers like family and do fast, quality work! Thank you guys so much!!!

Tyrone at Mavis was so kind and helpful to me when I stopped in with concern over a check engine light, worried that I wouldn't make it back to our home out of state. He, and his, employees went above and beyond looking at my car and ensuring that we were good to go!

I'm Ernest Williams and I had the pleasure of having Ms. Erin at the 2350 Cheshire Br. Rd. to work me. I informed her that I sent a notification about my appointment two weeks and she couldn't find it but was able to work me in to getting a tire rotation and at a good price. Thank you Erin and the service all of them did and gave. Ernest Williams

I went into Mavis Tire at Cheshire Bridge where I spent just under $800 (less thanks to Erin, shout out to Erin holding it down) on 4 new 18” rim tires and alignment for my daily driver. Printed in writing on the receipt was a warning to return hastily for the retorquing of the wheels’ lug nuts. You should retorque your lug nuts after driving 50 to 100 miles on new tires. Normal driving causes the new wheel and hardware to settle. This settling can reduce the clamping force of the nuts, potentially leading to loose wheels. Even wheels coming off the car while driving! Mavis has a policy to retorque the lug nuts hence the printed message on receipts which is due to human error because a baby once died in an accident where the tires fell of the wheels of a car on interstate 85 in GA. Retorquing is policy. I entered a busy shop 2 days after getting new tires on Friday morning and got in line. the girl ahead of me had no appointment but got a 1-1.5 hour turnaround time for a tire leak which is a free service (driver’s side, rear. She even pumped up the tire that morning). I was met with resistance when MS D bellowed that she would not stop any of her mechanics to give me a retorque, which takes five minutes by hand (no bay needed). MS D could have been polite, but then she added that the PRINTED DIRECTION to retorque tires was “not necessary” as she argued against her employer’s safety policy in a waiting room full of customers. How many customers in the past or future will or did suffer when she made such false and misleading statements about driver safety? How many poor people have lost new tires or been in accidents as a result of this employee’s woeful, false advice? I was glad she turned me away because I have one less reason to drive 28 miles into the city again. I bought new tires from this location in 2021 and was thrilled to return. A loyal customer base like mine takes decades to build. But MS D trashed that loyalty in an instant. And more than losing clients, she gave negligent advice contrary to company policy that may lead to bodily harm, dismemberment or death for those unlucky enough to believe her (and the potential lawsuits, for her employer since she acts in line of work). I would give Erin five stars if I could, but Ms D took down the rating with her attitude, her failure to honor company policy, and her negligent statements.
