  ⭐️ Extremely disappointed and concerned about my experience at Express Oil Change in Sandy Springs, GA I went to Express Oil Change in Sandy Springs yesterday after my tire pressure warning light came on shortly after leaving my grandson’s doctor’s appointment. I was 2½–3 hours from home, so I was already concerned about having a tire issue that far away. The tire had lost approximately 30 pounds of pressure. I checked it myself before going in and didn’t see anything obvious stuck in the tire. I went to Express specifically because I regularly use Express Oil Change in my hometown and expected the same level of service and concern for my safety. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. They essentially did what I had already done myself—looked at the tire for anything obvious—then added approximately 5 pounds of air and sent me on my way. That was it. They did not remove the tire to properly inspect it. They did not check the valve stem. They did not inspect the rim for a crack or damage. They did not appear to perform any kind of thorough leak test. They made no real attempt to determine WHY the tire had lost 30 pounds of pressure. How is adding a few pounds of air to a tire that has suddenly lost 30 pounds considered properly addressing the problem? I wasn’t asking them to magically fix something they couldn’t fix. I was asking them to find out what was wrong and determine whether it was actually safe for me to drive another 2½–3 hours away from home. Instead, I was sent back onto the highway with the same unresolved problem I came in with. What makes this even more frustrating is that I was traveling with my family after taking my grandson to a medical appointment. I was already dealing with enough stress without having to wonder whether the tire I was just told was apparently okay was going to lose pressure again on the interstate. Thankfully, I eventually made it home, but the fact that I had to do so without ever knowing why the tire lost that much air is unacceptable. I have used Express Oil Change back home and had a completely different impression of the company. This experience has seriously changed the way I view the brand. If this is the level of attention given to a customer who comes in with a tire that has suddenly lost 30 PSI, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before relying on this location when you’re dealing with a potential safety issue. Adding air is not diagnosing a problem. When a tire has lost that much pressure, I expect a professional shop to actually investigate the cause—not glance at it, add a little air, and send the customer back onto the road. Very disappointing, and honestly, very concerning.

  Not sure why they except oil change appointments here. Made one for 12:15 - arrived right on time to a line of 4 cars only to be told it would be at least a 30 minute wait. What’s the point of an appointment then??? Additionally there appears to be a vast price difference between what is shown online vs what is quoted on site. Seems like a shady ploy to lure customers in.

  Mike was very helpful, i don’t usually go to shops to get my oil changed so i don’t know much about doing it that way and he helped guide me though the process of this!

  The personnel at this location is incompetent. I went in for a routine engine oil change, and about one hour later, my car broke down with oil leaking everywhere. Be very careful with this shop. I don’t know if this happened because of negligence or incompetence, but a simple oil change resulted in a serious issue with my vehicle.
