Complete Failure and Total Disrespect for a Paying Customer
I paid Safelite in full, in cash (no insurance involved) to replace the back windshield on my Dodge Ram 3500 hot shot truck for my business. The appointment was scheduled for yesterday (July 8) between 1-6 PM. They never showed up. No call, no text, no notification whatsoever.
When I called, I only got a recorded message telling me to go to the website. The website gave zero information about my appointment and only pushed me to reschedule. I still have no windshield in my truck and cannot legally or safely drive it, which means I am losing income every single day this drags on.
As a small business owner who depends on this truck to make a living, this level of unreliability is unacceptable. I paid them upfront for a service they completely failed to deliver with zero communication.
Do not use Safelite if you need reliable service or if your vehicle is essential for your livelihood. I will be pursuing a refund and filing complaints with the BBB and consumer protection. Extremely disappointed.
Terrible. We would not recommend them to anyone and its been a nightmare.
Went through insurance to get our windshield and driver side window replaced. They brought the wrong windshield and rescheduled, then on the second appointment the tech called management and said its the wrong windshield and they told him to install it anyway, he did.
I called and said its not right and needs redone. Third tech came out, damaged the seals to the windshield, we have him on video picking and ripping them out. He was rude to my wife during install and then left.
After install we looked it over and there was a hairline crack in the bottom of the windshield. As well as the damaged seals.
I made a complaint with corporate, I called the office, spoke to management and they said they'd fix it and get it resolved.
Months have gone by and nothings been fixed and we haven't heard back. Seals are still damaged, windows still cracked and they haven't done anything to fix it. Their are open gaps on the bottom of the windshield.
Through all of this we have been kind, understanding and patient, but enough is enough. It has been ridiculous.
Rude, unprofessional, with no integrity to do the job right.
Besides the first technician its been awful to work with them. Nothings been done correctly and we are beyond unhappy.
If I could leave 0 or negative stars I would.
Great service. It was easy to make the appointment online and I received plenty of reminders. Staff was very friendly. I stayed rather than dropping off and was told it would take 2-3 hours. That was longer than I expect but not knowing that ahead of time was on me, not them. Just be aware of it. However, the actual wait time was about 90 minutes so they beat expectations. All of the insurance claim was handled when making the online appointment so it was a very easy in and out for me. No problem so far 4 days after the windshield replacement.

From the office to the technicians the Cartersville Safelite is a great experience. They are honest. I use them for all my auto glass needs. I have had 6+ windshields repaired I’ve never had a bad Safelite experience. This location is my absolute favorite.

Fast and efficient! I called my insurance company after my windshield was hit by a golf ball to see how we could replace it. They set me up with an appointment with Safelite two days later. Safelite came to my office and repaired my windshield while I continued to work! I appreciate how fast and efficient they work! Thank you!
