  This is our second year at this resort, for the 4th of July. Last year was so perfect, that we booked again, the following year. Our camp sites this year, were across from the bathrooms, as I purchased two, two months in advance, and the sun was MISERABLE!! Belinda, the Camp Host, was WONDERFUL!!! The bath houses were CLEAN, and my Mom and her Husband were not made to leave, as their camp site was complete Cement, with no place to properly put up their Yurt. And Security came by at 8:30pm in the evening, and scared them with possibly having to leave. My Mom is battling breast cancer, after a double mastectomy, and we’re just trying to make ALL OF THE GRANDMA MEMORIES that we can, while she is still with us. The sites were hot and miserable from 1pm-6-pm with FULL SUN and no shelter from trees, (sites 44C and D,) but Belinda was WONDERFUL, FRIENDLY, and Full of LIFE!!!! And we all came home with AMAZING SUN TANS AND LAKE MEMORIES! TOMORROW IS MY 48th BIRTHDAY!!! So, we ALL had a GREAT TIME! Thanks again, for not making our parents leave❤️ We are cherishing every moment that we can, for as long as we have her, as her cancer is diagnosed to spread within the next 5 years. We’re on year 2!   We stayed at this campground for the weekend and unfortunately it was not the best experience for us. The campground does offer several convenient amenities like a laundry facility, bathhouse, and pool, which we appreciated. However, our campsite was extremely unlevel and after the heavy rain, the entire site flooded badly. While the weather itself is uncontrollable, the drainage and site conditions made it very difficult to enjoy our stay. We also had multiple mornings where other campers allowed their dogs to use our campsite as a bathroom and did not clean up after them, which was very frustrating. On top of our camping fees, we had to pay an additional $120 for an uncovered boat slip and trailer parking. The trailer parking area was in a field, and because of all the rain, the entrance became nothing but mud. Without a 4x4 vehicle, it was nearly impossible to acces boat trailer. Sadly, this was our first and will likely be our last time staying here.

  Very happy with the camping / RV spots, accses to the lake & the bath house is amazing!! Staff is also very nice & helpful. Great for kids also. Thanks, Miles
