Had what I believed to be a battery issue… slight sprinkle outside, nothing more. Waited my turn and Caleb let me know he wasn’t comfortable testing the battery because of the “rain.” Fair enough… I offered to do it myself if he’d just tell me how to use the tester. He declined… didn’t want to assist, didn’t even want to stand nearby as he thought it would be to dangerous to watch me test my battery in the dry engine compartment with the hood over the engine where no water was coming in…poor fellas just didn’t want to engage. Then Christine stepped in. She said “No problem, sir. I will do it.” No hesitation… no excuses… just ownership. I tried to do it myself out of respect… she insisted on doing her job and doing it right. That matters. She tested the battery, confirmed it needed replacement, grabbed the correct one, and when I again offered to handle the install, she shut it down and got it done herself. That’s pride in your work. That’s service. I’ve worked hard my entire life… and I recognize it immediately when I see it in someone else. Christine carries herself with professionalism, grit, and a commitment to doing what needs to be done… no matter how small the task. Caleb… you’ve got a decision to make. Step up or step aside. The world doesn’t reward comfort… it rewards effort, accountability, and action. Christine… you earned this review. Absolute respect!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
