**DO NOT USE SAFELITE — TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY!** I am extremely disappointed with Safelite and the way this entire situation has been handled. I scheduled a mobile windshield chip repair, and technician Javier came out to perform the service. What should have been a simple, minor repair turned into a much bigger problem when additional cracks appeared in my windshield after the repair. Now, instead of having a small chip repaired, I am facing a full windshield replacement. This is completely unacceptable. I contacted Safelite expecting them to investigate what happened and take responsibility for the outcome, but instead, I was told that the additional cracking is considered a “failed repair” and that I am responsible for replacing my windshield. I even spoke with manager Gabriel, hoping someone in management would take this seriously and help resolve the issue. Unfortunately, he was unable to provide a satisfactory resolution. I was essentially left to deal with the consequences and potential expense myself. **How is this acceptable customer service?** A company should not be able to leave a customer with a worse problem after providing a service and then simply dismiss the situation by calling it a failed repair. At the very least, the company should thoroughly investigate what happened, explain its findings, and provide a fair resolution. Customers should not feel abandoned when something goes wrong. If GEICO is referring you to Safelite for windshield repairs, please do your research and carefully consider your options before agreeing to the service. My experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I would not want another customer to go through the same situation. I believe Safelite needs to be held accountable for how these situations are handled. Customers deserve transparency, professional workmanship, and meaningful support when a repair goes wrong. Instead, I am left with additional damage, the possibility of paying for an entire windshield replacement, and no satisfactory solution from management. **I would not recommend Safelite based on my experience.** A company's responsibility to its customers should not end the moment a repair fails. Do better, Safelite.

I would have checked zero stars but it wasn’t an option. So I checked 1 star. My experience with Safelite auto glass was an absolute nightmare. I have used them in the past , Svc has CC a good experience ( on the west coast) . But the Georgia location and services that were sent out to me mobile , were not good and that is an understatement. They installed my windshield at my home. When i went to drive my vehicle , I found that multiple safety features had been disabled and were inoperable. Then I was told I needed to bring it to their location to get it fixed. So I did. My lane assist was inoperable as was my WiFi . Upon arriving at their location I was told I needed another windshield to get the calibration process to work . This windshield they had installed wasn’t working. So , I had to return to this location again . This would be my 3 rd day of trying to repair my cracked windshield and the aftermath. Scheduled the return trip . Came in. They replaced this windshield with a factory OEM GM glass. Then I was told it wasn’t the windshield .Itc was the bracket that was preventing the calibration from going through. So another trip . Save another day with an unsafe vehicle. Next trip in the replaced the bracket , got the calibration to go through. But as I drive away I noticed my navigation was frozen and inoperative. Long story short They shorted out my vehicles communication box which I am now working on at the dealership ( estimate starts at 900 dollars. And Safelite manager Daniel is taking me that they didn’t do this . Major lie and major deflection of responsibility for their incompetence Svc ineptitude. The people doing the work are unqualified Abd guessing as they go. I would let Safelite auto glass clean my floor mat. Lesson learned Next time I catch a rock with my windshield. I will go straight to the dealer and skip the inept un responsible guess work by the “professionals” at Safelite . Lesson learned !

I needed a full replacement of my windshield due to a rock splintering my glass. I was able to get Safelite to replace the windshield the very next morning, which meant minimal disruption to our routine. I highly recommend their service.

Excellent experience with Safelite! I had the windshield replaced on my 2026 BMW X3 M50, and the entire process was smooth and professional. The technician was knowledgeable, careful with my vehicle, and made sure everything was installed correctly. With a newer BMW and all the technology and sensors involved, I wanted the job done right, and Safelite delivered. The new windshield looks great, everything works as it should, and the service was efficient from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Safelite, especially if you have a newer luxury vehicle and want the job handled professionally

Top notch customer service with Gabe & Ashley at the Buford location. Explained the process of the repair in advance ( OEM replacement glass on 2024 subaru cross trek. ) Super helpful in getting me rescheduled since glass from manufacturer had a slight flaw so had to come back. I drove in from over an hour away since no shop near me in Athens/Watkinsville and they made sure to personally lock my appt since I had problems originally a AllState app Link. Tech Jonathan(? ) knows his stuff and was able to clearly explain process to me. GOod communication even though Safelite phone system kept telling me to go online, Gabe saw I called a few times in a row day before around 4p bc I check on new glass before driving in for an hour again on. Sat morning . He called me back, checked it out - even though late Friday afternoon is prolly very busy with folks picking up their cars. Greay customer service is so rare these days, I just had to share .
