- MYMichael YangSep 28, 20261.0Walked in and there were 4-5 workers sitting down eating their burritos. Fine with me. No greeting or anything. Also, fine. I walked up and asked, "hey, do you guys have bolts for calipers for my car model?" Employee says, "nah, probably not. But you can go to ace hardware and they'll custom cut for you. You can also check the bolts aisle. Whatever is there is all we have." I wander around the entire store looking for the bolts aisle and eventually found it. Would've been nice if they pointed me towards it. I searched and couldn't find it. Then I searched their website for my part so I could compare to the available parts in the aisle. Website says my part was in stock. I spent 15 minutes looking for it but couldn't find it. Went back to the guys eating their burritos and asked, "hey, can you help me find this bolt in the aisle?" One of the guy says, "oh, that part is actually on the back. Let me grab it for you." Wasted my time. Why didn't you just do your due diligence and check the system when I walked in, instead of telling me to go to ace or check the aisle myself? So inefficient, rude, and no respect for customer's time.

He helped me select the right battery, recommended a few things to help protect it, and took extra care to make sure everything was installed properly using the right equipment. He even cleaned up the battery area, which was already pretty messy when I brought it in. I really felt like he took the time to do the job right and take care of me. The installation was every bit as professional as I would expect from a dealership, if not better. Very satisfied!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
