  Super pleasant experience from scheduling a windshield replacement to the service technician’s replacement. Highly recommend SafeLite and Mike was awesome!

  About 2 days ago I would have given them 5 stars. I had to take my car back for the third time, because my rain sensing wipers was not working properly. They said they fixed the issue by installing a new sensor, and I asked them to recalibrate it due to the new sensor being installed. They advised me that I was 2 days passed my 30 day recalibrate warranty period. I told them of the issue that I have had with this and they still stated that there's nothing they can do. My rain sensing wiper are still not operating correctly, and still causing me issues. I explained this in length to the person at the front counter. However, they just kept stating there's nothing they can do, as I was 2 days passed my warranty. Again this sensor was not installed correctly twice!!!!!!!!!!

  I brought my vehicle to the Safelite location in Brunswick with a tiny chip in the windshield, approximately 1–2 mm. I trusted them probably because they have national marketing, and that's probably the first mistake I made. I expected them to tell me if the chip could not be safely repaired. Instead, they took the appointment, attempt to do a repair that should not have been done, and turned that tiny chip into a crack that eventually spread approximately 24 inches across my windshield. What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of communication. When the vehicle was returned to me, I was simply told, “There’s no charge today, here are your keys.” No one explained that the repair had failed, showed me the damage, apologized, or discussed what I should do next. I discovered the crack only after getting back into my vehicle. It took 3 weeks and a phone call and multiple emails to Safelite corporate before The local Brunswick manager, Revae, finally emailed me to quote Safelite’s policy that the company does not cover a replacement windshield when a repair fails or spreads. While that may be their written policy, it does not excuse the poor communication or customer service. Had someone clearly explained the risk and assessed whether such a small chip should even be repaired, I could have made an informed decision before allowing them to proceed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Brunswick location. I wish I had chosen a knowledgeable local glass company that would have communicated honestly and treated both me and my vehicle with greater care.

  The repair was done exactly as it was explained to me. The technician was excellent. And the repair was done in a timely manner. The waiting area was very clean.
