When you go into to purchase they are short with you as if you are wasting there time. They leave for a few minutes only to come back to say they don’t have the part. They won’t even look it up to see if it is at another location or if they can get on for you.

They sounded very busy and yet she was very helpful so I tried not to stay on the phone any extra time, yet I regret not asking her name.) They were all helpful and kind, and I greatly appreciate it. From looking up my battery to see if it was still under warranty all the way to the completed installation, they made sure it was done and were kind and helpful with all of their knowledge throughout already helping me by installing it. They were patient with my questions and made what could be stressful an enjoyable learning experience. With their good attitudes, they helped me, brought this location more business in the future, make this community better, and I think will do well with getting back up from all the knocks life throws while helping make others better because, like I said, they just have good attitudes. I really do appreciate it. I was already excited to not wonder if the vehicle was going to start because of the bad battery since I was getting a new one, AND I got helpful knowledge. Even if it’s just a job, you did it well, and you never know how much you might be helping someone beyond what you can see. Thank you to each of you for your patient kindness.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
