I had a great experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes thanks to Tyrice! He was professional, helpful, and made sure I got the best deal possible. He helped me get a great price, included a warranty, and even applied a discount that I truly appreciated. Customer service like this is what keeps people coming back. I highly recommend asking for Tyrice if you visit Mavis Tires & Brakes. He’ll take care of you!

Mavis came through for me today. I needed a tire change because I blew it out and Jordan got it done for me quickly so that I could get back on the road today. I really appreciate their quick and friendly service! 10/10, worked recommend!

I’m changing my original review to reflect the truth. When I first walked in, they offered a free tire patch in exchange for a positive review. I obliged, but after what happened next, I’m changing this to a warning. I bought tires here in December with the road hazard protection. Six months later, I got a nail. These tires were basically brand new with plenty of tread and low mileage from a short daily commute. A full replacement anywhere else is $201 installed. Mavis initially quoted my "discounted" warranty price at $180. When I called them out, they magically dropped it to $120. The pricing is completely arbitrary. Most companies spell out the warranty terms on the back of your receipt, but that’s not the case here. They don't give you any written information on it. If you actually want to see the contract, you have to go look it up on their website—but honestly, you're just throwing your money away. To top it off, I sat in the waiting room for over two hours, only to find out my car had been finished and sitting outside for who knows how long without anyone telling me. The staff wasn’t rude, but the business practices are SHADY. Don't fall for the inflated ratings here. BUYER BEWARE!!! ’m taking my business elsewhere.

I had a terrible experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes on Howell Mill. The professionalism was completely lacking — it felt more like a group of homeboys hanging out than an actual business trying to help customers. Before I even made it inside, someone stopped me outside and asked what I was there for, then casually told me the alignment guy had already left at 6… even though MY APPOINTMENT was scheduled for 6 PM. Then they tried to tell me to just come back in the morning. That makes absolutely no sense considering the store doesn’t close until 8 PM, and the system even allowed later appointment times like 7 PM. So why is the alignment technician gone before closing while appointments are still available? The whole place gave off a very unprofessional, “nobody wants to work” vibe. I don’t care if it’s close to the end of a shift — until the business is closed, customers’ time should still be respected. If I schedule an appointment, honor it. I won’t be coming back.

I took my car here for the 1st time Thomas the cashier needs customer service kills. He does not speak to customers very polite in da t he is mono toned and not friendly. I had a wheel alignment done and it was not done correctly I got down the street and my wheels were shifting to the left I call them and they said bring it back took a long time this time but they were able to fix it and apologized because they didn’t do it right the 1st. I’m giving a 4 because it should have been done 1st time. Work with Thomas on his customer service skills other than that he isn’t bad . The mechanics all were nice
