I pulled into this parking lot because our teens were across the street getting ice cream while we were traveling through the area on our way to a cabin in North Georgia. While I was trying to figure out how to pay for parking, a man approached our truck. He was not wearing any business attire or anything that identified him as parking lot staff. He offered to “watch” the belongings in the bed of our truck for a fee. I politely declined, but he continued insisting. At that point, I locked the doors and told him I would call the police if he continued. He eventually walked away. I immediately called my kids and told them to hurry back, and I left the lot to pick them up. The interaction made me feel unsafe, and I did not feel comfortable leaving my vehicle or belongings there. Now, months later, I have a collection notice from a Colorado attorney demanding $102 for parking. I would much rather spend the money hiring an attorney to obtain the parking lot surveillance footage and document exactly what happened that day than pay a questionable charge for a situation where I did not feel safe enough to remain in the lot. If your business is going to pursue customers for payment, you should also be prepared to explain what happened on your property and review the surveillance footage. I will not be paying $102 for this. Scam someone else.

LAZ Parking at 360 Marietta St. in Atlanta is a scam! We parked here to go to the aquarium, paid for parking, then two months later got a notice of noncompliance letter from Parking Revenue Recovery Services (in Colorado!) saying that I owed $55. I uploaded all the information including the payment receipt from my bank to dispute the charge, and they emailed me two weeks later that “the notice was issued for valid reasons and the dispute is denied.” This place is a total SCAM!!! Do not respond to them or their attempts to scam you out of additional money, even after you’ve already paid for parking! I’ll be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Stay away!

Even though we paid for parking, my car was booted. We called right away, paid the amount they requested, and were still left waiting for almost an hour. Very poor service and a terrible experience. Avoid parking here.
