I am writing to formally document a troubling experiences with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, specifically involving the branch located at 3852 Jonesboro Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30354, and to request immediate executive review of my account, branch conduct, and rental eligibility status.
I have been a frequent Enterprise customer because my 90-year-old mother lives approximately two hours from Atlanta and I regularly rent vehicles to visit and transport her to important medical appointments without placing excessive mileage on my personal vehicle. I have consistently paid my rental obligations on time and have considered myself a responsible and loyal customer.
June 18, 2026
On Thursday, June 18, 2026, I had a confirmed reservation:
Confirmation Number: 2097099511
Pickup Time: 10:00 AM
Location: 3852 Jonesboro Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30354
This reservation was extremely important because I needed transportation to take my 90-year-old mother to a cardiology appointment in Greensboro, Georgia, approximately two hours away. My personal vehicle was scheduled for service at the dealership that same day, making this reservation critical.
I booked this reservation through my Enterprise account days in advance and received multiple confirmations indicating that my reservation was valid.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by an employee. He said his name was Fabian, and wrote is name on an Enterprise card. Fabian informed me that I would not be allowed to rent a vehicle from that location.
I asked why, particularly given that Enterprise had allowed me to complete a reservation through my Enterprise account and had sent multiple confirmations of my rental. Fabian stated that he could not explain why I was being denied.
I asked how Enterprise could confirm my reservation, allow me to arrive for pickup, and then refuse service without explanation?
I explained the urgency of the situation, including my mother’s cardiology appointment and her fragile health. Despite this, no explanation, accommodation, escalation, or solution was offered.
As a direct result of Enterprise’s refusal to honor my confirmed reservation, I was unable to transport my mother to her cardiologist appointment.
This caused significant emotional distress. My mother’s health is delicate at 90 years of age and when she sees me under stress, her own heart condition worsens. This incident caused avoidable hardship for both of us.
Additional Concern Regarding Damage Claim
I also wish to raise concerns regarding the prior vehicle damage claim that appears to have triggered these issues.
After consulting with legal counsel, the first attorney I spoke with reviewed the damage billing and expressed concern that the charges appeared unusually high and potentially deceptive.
Requested Resolution
I respectfully request the following:
1. Immediate written clarification regarding my rental eligibility status across all Enterprise locations
2. Removal of any improper flags, restrictions, or branch-level blocks on my account
3. Formal investigation into the conduct of the Jonesboro Road branch and the branch manager (Gary Terrell, II)
4. Executive review of the prior damage claim and billing practices
5. Written explanation as to why a confirmed reservation was accepted and later denied without cause
6. Formal response from Enterprise executive leadership.
I am deeply disappointed by the treatment I received. I have been a paying, responsible customer who resolved prior obligations in good faith. I should not be subjected to inconsistent policies, unexplained denials, or disrespectful treatment.
If this matter cannot be resolved internally, I am prepared to pursue further remedies, including legal review and complaints to the appropriate consumer protection agencies and the Georgia Department of Law Consumer Protection Division.
I request that this complaint and all supporting documentation be preserved for investigation.
Sincerely,
Tamara Knight
