Specifically, Ms Alexis who helped me change my battery. For a few reasons, out of anyone’s control, this change took much longer than normal and she was very kind and patient the entire time. Ms Shevan was also kind and helpful! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I recommend this store specifically because of the kind and knowledgeable women who are there. Thank you so much!

- MMMJAug 1, 20265.0After picking up my daughter from the airport, I experienced a check engine light and found advanced auto parts to have the code read. Keegan quickly came out, read the code and then checked my battery. The news was not good, so we spent the next three hours waiting for AAA. Eventually , the tow trucker arrived , and we left in an uber , but Kimberly and Keegan were so delightful to try to help us in every way that they could. From brainstorming tow truck companies to keeping us engaged in conversation, we felt like we made a couple of friends and they were truly a testament to good service and friendliness. Southern hospitality!

What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.
How much does a car battery cost?
A traditional lead/acid car battery can range between $60-$120. HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
