  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Customer Service at Advance Auto Parts! I had an excellent experience at Advance Auto Parts thanks to Deshun and Rayven! Both were friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to answer my questions, made sure I found what I needed, and went above and beyond to make my visit a great one. Their knowledge and positive attitudes really stood out, and it’s clear they care about providing excellent customer service. Employees like Deshun and Rayven are what make a business stand out from the competition. If you’re looking for knowledgeable staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and quality service, I highly recommend this Advance Auto Parts location. I’ll definitely be back! Keep up the great work! 👏

  I genuinely cannot believe the level of incompetence and unprofessionalism I just experienced at the Advance Auto Parts on Memorial Drive. I purchased a BRAND NEW battery from this store, and somehow what should have been the simplest battery installation turned into an absolute disaster. First, the employees managed to DROP AND LOSE THE HARDWARE FOR MY BATTERY CONNECTION SOMEWHERE IN MY ENGINE BAY. How does that even happen? Then, apparently, an AUTO PARTS STORE couldn’t find a replacement for a basic piece of battery hardware. Let that sink in. An auto parts store couldn’t find a screw. So what was their brilliant solution? Rig up the ridiculous, potentially dangerous mess you see in the attached photo. Instead of properly securing my battery connection, they decided this sketchy, makeshift setup was an acceptable solution to send a customer back onto the road with. And somehow, it gets worse. They also managed to screw up the warranty on my BRAND NEW battery, leaving me unable to get a replacement after they damaged it. So now I’m stuck dealing with the consequences of THEIR mistakes, on a battery I JUST PURCHASED FROM THEM. You would think that after this comedy of errors, management might step in, apologize, and make some attempt to fix the situation. Nope. The manager was too busy wearing her AirPods and chatting with her friend about how drunk she was planning to get after work. I’m standing there with a battery situation her employees created, and apparently her evening drinking plans were more important than doing her job. I wish I were making this up. The sheer lack of professionalism, accountability, basic mechanical competence, and customer service at this location is absolutely staggering. YOU SELL AUTO PARTS. YOU INSTALL BATTERIES. HOW ARE YOU THIS BAD AT BOTH? I came in with a straightforward battery issue and left with missing hardware, a questionable electrical connection, a damaged battery, and a warranty mess. All thanks to the people who were supposedly there to help. This isn’t just bad customer service. This is the kind of carelessness that makes me seriously question whether this location should be installing anything on anyone’s vehicle. I will be escalating this to Advance Auto Parts corporate, and I expect them to make this right. Save yourself the headache, the money, and the potential damage to your vehicle. Go literally anywhere else. And to the manager: Maybe take the AirPods out and manage your store before worrying about happy hour.

  My battery has died twice in the past month, so I figured it was faulty. I went in to get a new battery, and one of the employees, Nico James, came out to take a look at it. He attached a device to it and had me perform some tasks to test it at different levels. He confirmed the charge was at 100% but the battery level was at 70%. Which did not make sense since it was only 9 months old, but it was not bad enough to qualify as a bad battery as per the testing device. He said he would be hesitant to say it was a bad battery, because he suspected that something else was the problem, and if I replaced the battery then the real problem could cause the same situation later on. He did some inspecting and noticed that some of the connectors were very loose (not the bolts directly connecting the wires to the battery terminals, but some others that were connected a bit farther up that I had not thought to check). We tightened that, and then he worked with me to charge the battery for a few minutes and recheck, and sure enough the health of the battery had started to climb back up. Nico was very helpful and took the time to not only confirm whether the battery was faulty or functional, but he also helped me diagnose the root cause of the problem which could have caused the same issue later on. He also gave some other parts of the engine bay a quick look when I mentioned I would be taking the car for a long distance and confirmed everything looked good. I really appreciated his help in fixing my car so I know it will work when its performance truly matters.
