- LMLeila MeiAug 24, 20262.0I used to always get my wiper blades done on my truck by Jahaan and had no issues in the past... Someone else did them a few weeks ago on my daughter's Corolla and it flew off as she was driving down the highway 400. Was very disappointed with the new management and long wait time, so this was the cherry on top. When I went to use the bathroom, it smelled like substances were smoked previously. I don't know what's going on with this establishment, but you need to get your people sorted out straight. I still can't believe how poor of a job was done on my daughter's car, especially for a simple task. Will not be returning, I'll try my luck with Autozone next time.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
