One star is way to much I came in telling them I needed a new starter. They said it wasn’t that instead they insisted saying it’s a car battery and terminal wiring. My truck isn’t starting wasted time and money when I told you guys what I needed… now my car won’t start and it’s also having some other issue and you guys haven’t done shit to fix or make it right. Completely overpriced and horrible service
Out of over 7.5 million people who have read my reviews, this is my first review of a car repair shop. Oftentimes going into a car repair shop can be scary because you really don’t know if you’re going to be treated fairly and not over charged. Expert Car Care is my recommendation for your car care needs. While visiting the area, our car broke down and needed a radiator. I had an extended warranty and they honored it and did an excellent job. It didn’t take them long at all, as I had my car back in one day. I drove nearly 300 miles back home and didn’t have a single issue. I surely don’t want to break down again, but if I do, I’m giving Jamal at Expert Car Care a call.
Unfortunately I can’t leave 0 stars. If you take your vehicle to this place, I HIGHLY recommend you get a2nd opinion somewhere else. I was a loyal customer to them for 4.5 years. The amount of money spent at this place, I’m sure they can put their grandkids in college. The past couple of times I went there, I started to get skeptical and felt like they were taking advantage of me financially. I truly do not know much about cars and just like hungry sharks, they fed off of that. My final straw was when I needed just 1 lug nut and they had the audacity to charge me $20. I went to Advanced Auto Parts and I bought one for $3. I told them how this place tried charging me $20 and they were baffled and said they’ve never heard of a place charging that much for one. I also noticed my car was making a severe rattling noise. Anytime I drove it felt like something was going to fall off the car. I spent a ridiculous amount of money for them to do a diagnostic. They said I had a bad AC compressor and that’s what was making the noise. They wanted to charge over $2,000 for it. I couldn’t afford that. Meanwhile, I’m still paying off my credit card from my previous visit there. They also said my car was still drivable and there was no safety concerns if I still drove it if I didn’t get the compressor fixed. I tried driving later that night for work and had to cut the trip short because it felt so unsafe to drive due to the intensive rattling. I decided to take my car to another shop for a 2nd opinion. I’m so glad I did because they were knowledgeable and their prices are VERY reasonable. Turns out I needed new sway bars. They said the AC compressor had nothing to do to what that noise was. Not even close. For $250, my car was fixed. No more rattling. I called Expert Car Care and I asked for my money back for the diagnostic. Not only did they not fix the reason why I brought the car there, they tried to get $2,000 to fix what the problem was not. I was told they wouldn’t do a refund, but they’ll give me a credit towards my next time there.. well, I’m out of that money because I will not go back there again. I asked why they couldn’t give me the money back and was told it’s too much of a process for them to contact the credit card company. They dont want to be inconvenienced, but the nonsense I had to go through mentally and financially is no problem for them. Also, he said that he needed to speak to the higher ups / executives to get approval for it and he would get back to me. He didn’t get back to me. I had to call multiple times to get him on the phone. I was told they’ll leave a message for him to call me. He didn’t. Finally, when I was able to get him on the phone, he said he couldn’t do the refund. So he did “find out” but didn’t care to call me. Also, I found out after the fact, he was one of the executives! I am not the kind of person who leaves negative reviews on ANYONE. I’ve been in customer service, I get it! But they absolutely earned this review. Do not bring your car there unless you have endless amounts of money or you don’t mind being taken advantage of. That place makes an unbelievable amount of money and they can’t give me a refund for a diagnostic. They don’t care who they screw over, they just want more and more and more money. It’s going to be a pain to leave reviews on other sites, but if I can help prevent someone else from going through what I did, I will. Time to move on.

Had a great experience here. J and Jamal were a huge help, super friendly and honest the whole time. I brought my own HID bulbs for my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe and they installed both without trying to upsell me on anything unnecessary.
Other places were quoting me hundreds more, but they got it done quickly. Really appreciate the fair pricing and great service. Highly recommend!
Incompetent. Came in for overheating and thermostat was replaced. Service recommended changing the valve cover gasket for an oil leak, so I agreed to have the maintenance performed. When it was completed, I asked for pictures and was told that they didn't have any, and didn't have the old gasket to show because they threw it away.
Once month later, my vehicle was being serviced at the dealership; the service advisor recommended replacing the valve cover gasket because an oil leak was noticed so I contacted Expert Car Care during the week and was told that they would order the part and install it on the weekend. I was also told that it would take a few hours.
Today, I brought the vehicle in around 8am. The assistant manager, Jamal, whom i had spoken with earlier that week to explain the situation could not remember me and why I was coming in today and just said it shows i'm here for a valve cover gasket replacement. I was told that they would call with an update, and by 11am I called, since they didn't and was told that the vehicle has not been checked and that they would call me for an update. I called again 2 hours later (12:50pm) and was told that they would be looking at it now. Then 30 minutes later, they called and said that there was a noticeable oil leak coming from the valve gasket cover and the assistant manager stated that he could not confirm that it was replaced so they would be replacing the gasket and that he wasn't sure if they had the part, but could obtain it since their part supplier is 10 minutes away. When I came at 3pm, the repair was complete and the assistant manager showed me a gasket and said it was from my vehicle and that it was replaced. During this time, what I was told stopped making any sense. I will not be returning for any maintenance and am sure that if I have had this type of experience where the staff acted like this is a typical day at work and did not show any concern regarding the repair that was done, then I cannot be their only customer this has happened to.
